Fletcher Baker has played 32 games with 6 of these in the starting side.

As pointed out he was a backrower who has been converted to a front rower so very early days in his NRL Career.

He reminds me of a better version of Napa.
Probably hasn't developed as fast as some would like but I think he is a keeper for a couple more years to see if he gets better. He is a good back up front rower at this stage. Many thought Collins was a waste of space after 30 odd games.

Baker is ahead of where Collins was at the same age.

          Fark, that's gone quickly

Hasn't improved fark all. Hopefully one day we have a healthy squad so we dont have to watch the same plodders run out in firsts every week

Thought he was solid on saturday without really standing out. I feel he will continue to develop the more games he gets. Just needs some more aggression and mongel about him.

I think he's in for a decent season.

I think he will show this year that he belongs in our starting 17!

Big body with a decent motor, also starting to show real intent in his hit ups..

Have high hopes for him this year!

                    Yep, thats the key ingredient.

You can't be a pig in first grade and not have a bit of hard-arse in you. You've got to set the tone for the whole team with your attitude and yardage in the middle. Entire teams lift when their props bend the line back and are assertive enough to rattle the opposing defence.

Maybe he has got it in him, but needs to be brought out.

He has two great teachers in JWH and Collins to learn from, so there is hope.

What makes JWH so good is not only his yardage game, it's mainly just his prescence in defence - his attitude, aura. Opposing teams are put off just knowing he is out there.

He's not showing any obvious flaws right now or getting suspended.

Don't get the feeling he's our alpha male or that he's destined for greatness. However if he gradually keeps plugging away I think he's a chance of becoming a regular 1st grader with the best team in the comp.

Egan Butcher was great off the bench at the back end of last year, he hasn’t been much cut in the left edge back row spot this year but don’t forget too quickly just how good he was as a mobile running forward last year.

People used to say similar about Isaac Liu, it just simply isn’t true. Not every prop has to be a hard nosed aggressive forward, sometimes a little bit of balance goes a long way.

He was very good for a young prop within a very weak pack last week. If he can build off what we saw last week we would be crazy not to persist with him. He's huge and once he learns that he can used that huge frame to bend and break the line in first grade he will gain confidence and I think that agro people say is missing will come out.

He's a keeper off last weeks performance.
