If people were expecting or thinking that B Smith would be an 80 minute player they may need to think again - I think 50 odd minutes would be the optimum game time for maximum impact.
B Smith is 94 Kgs 180 cm's and he did lose weight compared to Mahoney - 86 kg's and 175 cm's / Cook 88 kg's and 180 cm's / Koroisau 88kg's and 172 cm's / Grant 87 kg's and 175 cm's
Mahoney/Cook are regular 80 minute players as dummy halves and Grant will be playing more 80 minutes games
So does B Smith improve he stamina and lose some weight to get under 90 kgs in line with other comparable dummy halves to increase his game time ?
but with Turpin's performance, may be he doesnt need to?

Some of the rumour setc about Smith are concerning (only seen them on here) but I think he has a growth mindset and hope that bodes well for him and ultimately Easts!

Smith deserves longer time to adjust. Systems are clearly different between drizzle and roosters. He’s been injured most the season, even before the thumb. I think he is a class player and our team has played no better than Smith has. So I’m yet to throw him out like the media suggests. Hope he stays on the park for some consistent games

The Verrills vs Smith horse has bolted, it’s time to move. I was team Verrills purely because of salary cap/roster management but I think Smith has a much higher ceiling and I hope he gets through the rest of the season unscathed.

The joking and laughing with the storm players after the game on saturday wasn't a good look.
I understand players have history and its an opportunity to catch up but there is a limit.
The team had to wait for him to join them in the sheds before Robbo could address the group.
He needs his head pulled in.

I read in the paper that the playing group were unhappy with him but then that seemed to fade and was never mentioned again.
