  • How does robbo play it this week?

Do we undercook it and play it as “ just a game “ or do we obviously respond to these carnts with a heated physical presence? Richo adding fuel to the fire but as clear as day why he is doing it.. Just hope the boys can turn up tomorrow night.

Gotta get them to play the game not the man.
Gotta kick long and chase. Souths are no good from long range.
Got to have a tight middle to negate them from dummy half, make them throw it wide.
Got to make Mitchell work in his own half and hurt him .
Got to stay cool and clinical.
We have the talent to win any game if we complete over 75%

Depends on sutton how may penalties he gives them to get out of trouble otherwise if they can get out of their half they will have problems ...as for us I do not think we are physically ready yet to have a big win but if they take last week attitude and build it up we might do it. Godd reffing and we are a chance..if they get away with the same shit they did in the semi then storm the field

Play smart (which we struggle a bit to do at the moment) and just keep it simple.

            This is the big one.

Forget the niggle and the bllshit.

Hold the pill, complete the sets. Thats all. On the back of that possession and tiring opposition defence, points will come via Tedds, Toops, Sualllii, Manu and Keary.

take emotion out of it and play it our style. Jam up on their #6 which I think it's the most dangerous player

Controlled aggression. Run hard, tackle hard. Every game is the same ... win the ruck and you'll win the game the vast majority of the time. We have the class in the backs if the pigs build on last week & stand up.

Agreed I think we should play it simple.

Kick early and into space.. get Latrell running and working as once you get him fatigued he fades out of the game and their attack is stifled.

Defence needs to be on as well.

Stop making stupid basic errors. Even if you want to make it the most boring game imaginable, don't give Souffs any chance with the ball. Do not react to their niggle. More of our blokes will be penalised and marched for any indiscretion whereas they will get away with murder. Easy to say, harder to do. Souffs by 30.
1985: 1 try vs Parramatta, 1 try vs Manly, 1 try vs Wests, 2 tries vs Souffs
1986: 2 tries vs Illawarra, 1 try vs Balmain, 2 tries vs Norths.

I do believe Robbo is a bit under pressure, not from any outside forces just belief that we can be a real dominant squad.

Our top 17 isn't going to vary to much from this week. I am not saying it's now or never but we need to improve.

first thing - a lot of the media talk has been about the semi loss but that's not so relevant as a semi is different from a normal club game
