TBH I thought he was really positive about us in the post-game banter.

I loved seeing Cheese and Cam Smith though (plus Freddy)... like a bunch of old mates. Loved how Cam said 'I'll do it first' in the analysis of Cheese's try, did the tech talk for the fans and then asked what his real line of thinking was (IMO knowing he's 100% instinctive and just did it). They all had a massive laugh and it felt like they coulda kept talking for ages.

Loved it! Shows the sorta respect he's got from those two as well. Cam's previously described Cheese as a special kind of player who you don't wanna over-coach. I hope we see a lot more of his instinctive attach throughout the season...

Yep Teddy last line defence was a game winner. Not to mention Joeys and a few others we really did well in that department. I dare to say we wanted it more than them last night!

We certainly got no favors from the ref. The on ground strip, the penalty against young Sam, the Joey no try, compared to others given this year, he could have let Joey play the ball when he obviously didn't drop it, but put it down because he didn't hear the call, a coulpe of rough 6 agains to the vermin, Suaali run off the ball.

Please don't be like the commentators "probably the only person in the game who could of kicked that" after he missed short and wide hahahaha - hilarious Mitchel love fest - last week he did a regulation pass to their winger who beat three blokes to score a try but the winger got no mention from the commentators just the brilliance of the Mitchell pass that was deadset stock standard.

100% Mitchells kick was nowhere near close. Short, wide, low.... what rubbish.
Mitchell is an athlete with skills, can throw a pass and kick, but have a look at where he was when we scored or almost scored.. he has no idea where to be as a fullback in defence.

They went out there thinking last September and took up (after 30 minutes of what looked like being another 60+) where they left off prior to Teddy being knocked out in the Elimination Final. The irony was that a September-like high shot cost Souffs at least a Golden Point finish.

I'm not complaining about the glorious result but can anyone explain why when Joey is on report and got 10, there wasn't a Penalty try awarded. The guy was just a step away from putting it down. I think that that might have been what Trell alluded to when he said, post game, that he thought they had won.

I attended the enthralling game.
On a side note, I don’t usually fuss over teams cheerleaders but ours this season are a standout. I would love to see them include a sombrero/sombreros in their home performances.

The pass before Joey’s tackle was called forward so no penalty try. He didn’t need to even make that tackle, shame he didn’t hear the whistle.
