Dominic Young to be dropped

Daily Tele reporting that Dom young is set to be dropped this week due to poor form and no doubt the club is pissed with him signing with us.

It made me think - if he was offered to us for an early release to join us this year, would we take him immediately or wait until next year?
The only reason I ask is poor Jaxson Paulo is playing well and I’m interested and excited to see how he develops.

Dom Young’s immediate future at Newcastle is under scrutiny with the athletic winger, who will join the Roosters next season, set to be dropped.

I can think of about 10 players in their side I would drop before I dropped D-Young. Not biased due to the impending arrival next year, he is genuine X-factor in a team that sorely lacks it without KP.

I'm happy with our wing pairing right now, Paulo is doing really well right now with his 4 tries in 3 games and Tupou is a club legend who isn't going anywhere. Depending on how Paulo goes this year it might be hard to even bring Young right in for 2024...
