They left Hodgson off because the replacement was firing. Not sure if he is injured.

Mitch always gets a bad wrap from the media and fans. Doesn't help himself with the protracted contract sagas though. I reckon he is in the Top 3-4 halves in the game. Great kicking game. He is a turnstile in defence though and does seem to go quiet when the game is on the line (apart from last night). I like him as a player but wouldn't see how he improves our team if he came here. We have Sam Walker, who's main issues are controlling a game in the clutch moments and defence (he is getting better all the time though and will far exceed Moses once he reaches prime), so why would you bring a more expensive version of the same player in to partner eachother. I know the rumor is dead and buried but I think it made me realise there aren't too many halves I'd take over our current crop, i'd even rather see Manu at 6 before we got a big scalp from elsewhere. Only half I'd take is DCE because he'd be excellent for Sam's development. Nobody else fits the bill.

PS: I hate Cleary and Munster so I don't want them in our ranks no matter how good they may be.

Origin alone is at least 30 better players not including the fringe players.

That’s a dumb way to look at it he is stuck behind Nathan Cleary who is either the best player in the NRL or no worse than top 3 you are having a laugh if you think that Dane Gagai is a better player than Mitchell Moses

If I had free reign at buying a halfback I'd buy Walker, Cleary, Hughes, Reynolds, DCE and Hynes before paying $1.2M for Moses. But each to their own.

Fine then he’s better than Deardon, Gagai, Cobbo, Capewell, Oates, Arrow, Talakai, Jacob Saifiti, Luai, Matterson, Cook, Staggs, Ponga, Gilbert.

Make a serious list of 40 NRL players without naming Moses then and I sure hope you aren’t talking about Cody Walker there. This has nothing to do with paying $1.2m or signing them for a club it’s a a straight up talent for talent you can’t make a serious top 40 NRL list without naming him.
