Hey if you think Moses is in a best 40 in the NRL then I'm glad you aren't in our recruitment.
If I had free reign at buying a halfback I'd buy Walker, Cleary, Hughes, Reynolds, DCE and Hynes before paying $1.2M for Moses. But each to their own.

I would easily rate Moses in the top 40 NRL players. Guess I'm a mug as well

Make a serious list of 40 NRL players without naming Moses then and I sure hope you aren’t talking about Cody Walker there. This has nothing to do with paying $1.2m or signing them for a club it’s a a straight up talent for talent you can’t make a serious top 40 NRL list without naming him.

I named you 5 half backs I rate higher than Moses. Walker is ours and he will be better imo. Here are a few 5/8s I rate higher. Munster, Brown, Burton, Luai and Walsh. Do you want fullbacks next? If you rate him then good for you.

Stop stalling and just name the 40 players in the NRL better than him. The fact you rate Walsh and Luai above Moses tells me your list will good for a laugh and that’s it and Sam Walker isn’t currently better than him either.

So out of picking from two origin teams, Kiwi Pom, Samoan and Tongan teams you would have Moses somewhere in the Top 40?

Origin alone is at least 30 better players not including the fringe players.

I think your logic is a bit flawed.

Origin is 1 better halfback - agree with that - but arguably he is next cab off the rank. You can't say because DCE is picked for QLD at halfback he's picked over Moses - Moses isn't eligible for that is he. Hard comparing a back rower or prop or winger centre to a half. Anyway who cares really

He's a good player for sure, but he's 28 years old, I don't think he is going to get any better than he is right now.
I reckon he's worth around $900K.

I think it undermines the lack of quality halves in the competition. The money that the likes of Moses and Brooks are on in that position doesn't equate to the results they have produced.
