    1. Our own injury list is the biggest threat
    2. Penrith and storm will be up there - but have come back a little with key players leaving
    3. rabbits, eels and sharks should be around the pack
    4. broncos seem good atm, but with a young side see how they go post Origen period again, remember they were top 4 post Origen and fell out of the 8. They have a gun forward pack with haas and carrigan and good backs. Walsh looks a class above

Manly & Souths can both be a top 4 side.
Top game between these 2 tonight.

Thought manly got ripped a few times tonight, how they called that pass forward in the first half was criminal.

I dislike both teams equally, so I get a bit of joy out of seeing either lose.

manly are missing a quality hooker though, and schuster is a bit of a question mark at 5/8, but a strong team otherwise.

If we fall too far behind we can forget the finals. There are so many improved teams this year but I have yet to see vast improvements in our form and if we are too slow to find top form we’ll fall too far behind the rest to catch up. It’s early days but wins now are crucial to making the top placings.

Melbourne can't be underestimated. When fully fit a spine of 1. Paps 6. Munster 7. Hughes and 9. Grant can beat anyone

Broncos in a canter with the Doggies the Joker in the pack.

                    Dogs won’t make the 8.

Broncos are the wildcard if they stay fit. Their first 13 is pretty hot with a great halfback; a generational prop in Haas; some goers like Capewell and Carrigan in the pack; and 3 or 4 genuine game breakers in the backs of Walsh, Cobbo, Staggs, Farnworth and a nut trucker like Oates.

If they finish top 4 and get a home prelim in particular they’ll be hard to stop.

"The Roosters way" is our biggest threat.

EDIT: Manly are the dark horse IMO.

They are the dark horse but feel they are a player short off being a threat, possibly a number 9.

                        Parra's window has closed.
Penrith are going as I expected, players heads have got to big and that wedding has caused some division in the playing group.
Storm are not playing well but you can never count them out.

Souths are our biggest threat I feel, only team that can beat us is ourselves with some of the dumb things we do.

Jazz has reached the top shelf in regard to knowing how far he can push it without consequence. I believe that our dumb mistakes would mostly disappear if he was appointed captain. Stupid mistakes will be less likely if your answerable to the big dog. I know that it won't happen and it is just my opinion, but we need a captain that barks directions, not a teddy bear. Every game is a battle, who would you want by your side in the trenches?

FYI: I am not criticising Tedesco, I am applauding JWH.
