Suualii is a good kid (although I don't like referring to him as a kid) but hes playing with men these days! so he needs to make his own decisions and be a man about it. Isaac Moses is a scoundrel. We should have him blacklisted dealing with our club. Surprised Politis gave him a 2nd chance after the way he managed Tedesco. We have a genuine superstar at our club for the next 2 years. We can't keep them all ie RTS, Latrell so let's enjoy them whilst we have them. We genuinely have a premiership winning calibre squad.

I was thinking about this this morning actually. No one bats an eyelid at him, a General Manager, saying a rival team should let one of their star players go at the start of the year. Appalling.

Nothing more than Gould trying to weaken a rival club Everything Gould says everything Gould does has some sort of agenda behind it. It is very clear what his agenda is here
          When you trust your television
what you get is what you got
Cause when they own the information
they can bend it all they want

I thought this was going to be about the child p**n loving halfback from 2003-2006 not Suaalii. Phil Gould is a joke and should be ignored.

Wow. I just watched that segment where Gould said GO NOW at least 20 times, and the nufty commentator at the end says the final words..... YOU HEAR THAT JOE ?
              What a disgrace.
I hope young joe gets all the support from the club that can be provided.
I hope he scores a triple against the Bulldogs.

Moses has done what he is paid to do in getting his client an unbelievable deal. Whenever you hear anyone at the club talk about Suaalii they mention how professional he is with his attention to detail in terms of training and applying himself, I don't have any doubts that he will put in 100% over the next two seasons whilst we have him to try to win premierships.

That's the way it is with player managers/agencies.- The higher the contract the higher their cut is

Freddie Freeman would never have left the Atlanta Braves when he hit free agency at the end of 2021 (Braves World Series Victory Season)

His agency never told him about the Braves Final offer as they knew he would have taken the Atlanta deal over the considerable higher LA Dodges deal - Atlanta Braves 6 year 140 mill US vs LA Dodgers 6 year 162 Mill US
I find it amusing how often Buzz tells us what Politis thinks. Like he calls him every night while laying in bed.
First Uncle Nick was pissed that Tedesco is pushing for an extension only to sign a couple days later.
Then he is pissed that JS hasn't committed to 2024 only to take up his option a couple days later.
Now apparently he is pissed that JS's management didn't tell him about the ARU offer. But no quote from Politis or anyone from within the club.

Here is a what Robbo said about it.

“Joseph has been transparent with the club and we respect his decision,” Roosters coach Trent Robinson said.
“He has made his commitment to the Roosters club for the next year and a half crystal clear, and we’re excited about the path we’re on.”

There is an official quote from someone within the club. I think that is actually the only quote. It doesn't sound to me that it was all done behind our backs.

What happens if he starts playing for the Waratahs and simply doesn't go well enough to make the Australian side? Does he just get picked anyway? Surely Eddie Jones can't be made to pick someone because head office has signed them as a marketing tool for the code?

Gus comment is about too weaken the Roosters chances and strengthen the Bulldogs chances pure and simple. Read between the lines folks.

Losing a centre from the Roosters isn't going to help the Bulldogs chances.

Maybe Gus should be pushing some of their players to join union.

I have no problem with any of it.
Joseph, his manager, Nick & Robbo are all on the same page. 1.6 million a season who wouldn’t take that?
At the end of the day JS will be back, Nick & the other big wigs at the Chooks will help JS invest his money they will continue to have a relationship with him, it’s SBW all over again.

I think Robbo and Nick have done an amazing job to date to keep Joseph in the game as long as he is. An extra year knowing that eventually he will return to Rugby and be the million dollar baby is outstanding of us to get at least 4 years out of him in League.

He will return in my opinion after 2027.
