Good lord, if Joseph Suaalii can't make it in Grammar School ball then I'd retire in disgrace.

As for Isaac Moses, he is rather easy to dislike. Seems like a smart arse upstart that gets a kick out of pissing off Politis. If that's how he gets his sense of importance, life probably has some harsh lessons in store for him. Karma is well known to be a bitch.
Well the Suaalii’s hired him… I’m not sure why people here are worried about him or his family. They’re mercenaries… much like the Pongas… now there’s a boy who should go to back to union before he gets knocked into early retirement

I think all this hoo ha about him leaving in two seasons time is way overdone.
Let's get the best out of him whilst he is here. There is nowhere in anyone's contract that says you are with us for life. He made a commitment to the end of 22 took up an option for 23 and for 24 and that's just great.
The media and everyone else is over reacting and it feels like JS and his manager are ****ed if they do and ****ed if they don't. They want to whinge and say he's at one club but then switches sports so chuck him out of the game! The way I see it is they have thought what is the best way we can treat the Roosters - let them know where we are they are and gave us 2 seasons to prepare for life without him. That's decent - they could have gone all hush hush and sprung it on us at the end of 2024 and everyone would be saying what arseholes they are for giving the club and the sport no warning and leaving us on a limb.
****ed if they do ****ed if they don't because hysteria sells

Effectively, that is what I am saying (though with the qualifier that it seems like his manager is a smart ass - obviously we only know what gets reported in the media and he may be being misrepresented). Why are those two things not incongruent? In my mind, which admittedly can be a weird place, there is a difference between the 'what' and the 'how'. Suaalii is entitled to make the decision he made - that's the what. If his manager has behaved badly - that's the how. I get that you hold Suaalii responsible since he hired that manager and that's fair enough too.
The Suallii’s are not innocent helpless lambs… and it’s obvious who is calling the shots… the boy pulled out of representing the country that he has now accepted a huge sum of money to go play for
I’m not sure why he deserves our ‘full support’ as you say… they’re mercenaries… of course I don’t wish him ill while he plays for us or that he loses us a game
But if he doesn’t deliver for us in his remaining 18 months here then it will have been a waste of time developing him for 4 years

But there is a balance to be struck don’t you think? Would you want someone to come work for you if literally their only interest was themselves and the money you pay them?
I think we’re a very loyal club… which is one of the things that sets us apart… we’re very loyal to our players… particularly post retirement
Of course it’s a business… players will come and go… and as Keary said everyone knew this was coming at some point. But I don’t think the club is that pleased with how it’s played out so I’m not sure why the fans should be
I wish him well… particularly while he plays for us… but if he doesn’t go to another level at the Roosters these next 18 months then it has been a waste of time developing him
