  • Robbo's interview today

My god he is the most incredible leader of our club. If you haven't watched this already you need to. His response to Gould's comments is quite brilliant, but then he talks at length about Victor especially and also Jaxson Paulo. His comments re Victor are really worth watching.

      Thanks for sharing that.
Yes a great interview. 100% standing up for Joe and for the Roosters.
Putting Gould in his place without too much vitriol, but enough.
      Positive about this weeks game.
      Victor's 100th, let's hope it's special.
Good positive news about Angus and Brown.
And good supportive comments about Paulo.
He certainly carries himself very well.

Im not sure why Gould is beating his chest and saying "i fear no one". It's not as if Union has been stealing many players from league-ever.

Why is he even commenting for Nick and the club re Joseph S?? He has been very angry since losing 10kg.....guess you're not yourself when you're hungry.

It's a tough gig in charge of the Bulldogs- must be getting to him. Mehhh tough titties

We should be investing in players committed to OUR code. We shouldn’t be wasting precious salary cap prepping players for other codes knowingly. And he’s gonna take what he learns at our expense this and next year and hand all our goodwill to RU$$$. And what did we get for it all?

That is a really dumb take imo. You have a famine mentality. Any club would love to have JS for the next two years.

Gus got made to look like a sook and got embarrassed about it

                    1. who would not take a $1.6ml contract
                    2. While NRL have a salary cap they won’t be able to compete with the numbers rugby can throw at players
                    3. like robbo said rugby is an international game - over 100 counties and just under 1 billion people watch the world sup
                    4. can travel the world and the Japanese comp is only 16 rounds

look at all the players that have left the nrl recently ti rugby
SBW, Folau, K hunt, burgess, Marshall, Hayne, moeroa, Kata, radradra, korobete, RTS, rapana, Ferguson, teo, suli

whether they stayed or not, went well or not

for all different reasons, played it at school, money, global sport - rts is in half the money he could be playing league to reach his goal be an all black, chance to try something different

I’m a rugby man who loves league as well, atm I find league more attractive to watch, the game keeps flowing and media coverage it well, where as rugby it’s not covered as well and international game the ref is getting to much into flow

many school kids play both, buts it certainly easier to make it in aus in the nrl with 17 pro teams compared to 5 rugby teams, so many will cross back jn the

rugby could take critchon, Murray, koula, penesini as well so unless league comes up with another way to keep them! Keep in mind the nrl season is the same year after year, one part they could still grow and push is the international game

Well said Robbo. Why doesn’t Gus just worry about his bought not bred dogs?
When JS has finished with RU, he will return a Rooster.

Been looking forward to Robinson’s response all week and I’ve got to say he didn’t miss.

Calculated and on point as always.

Robbo's comments about Victor - being second only to Cooper when it comes to game plans and contributing in meetings and how he thrives on being the guy with the best footy brain on the field. But then how he "plays the other card" so often... Above all, you can see what Robbo thinks of Victor. That he is an elite player.

Yeh this took me by surprise, I remember hearing an interview with Radley saying he doesn’t watch a lot of the games over the weekend.

But then I guess when it is your job 5 days a week and they do so much video analysis these days they probably just want to get away from it during down time.
