  • Great win. Disappointing last two tries to Parra though.

    • Solid game
the commentators kept mentions eels missing a heap of player (2 in lane and paulo)

and then billy realised the roosters were missing manu, critchon, lodge, Watson and Sitili and teddy out early, plus brown, May, smith, toia still to come back will be some depth

teddy looked switched on tonight until he got injured
      - we bombed a heap of chances seemed to get the ball out wide a lot but could no convert, radley went close and keary obstructing with the try disallowed - if we have a full side and play well we win that by 40 easily
      - hutch and Allen were okay as centre coverage
      - keary and walker best games for the year
      - smith was classy and big Jared and Lindsay led the way up front
      - radley was solid and Egan made good metres with little errors - his best game so far

I thought it was going to be, but that last 10 brought us back on par with the souffs game.

I guess we scored more points tonight?

                • The best part was the resilience to get back in to the game and dominate them when they scored an early try after half time.

                    • Can see the media causing a stir next week with "Who will replace Tedesco at fullback"?

Manu or Suaalii? Who will end up being the player preferred by Robbo?

                        • I’m starting to think I was wrong about Brandon Smith’s ability at dummy half, his identification of lazy/offside markers and the deception he sells with his footwork and eyes has been really impressive.

The lead up play for the Keary first try was all class, eyes sold the marker one way, footwork and positioning of the offisde player made it impossible for him the defender to react as he cut back inside and then soft hands for Walker to put him in a gap. All class.

No mention of Radley as a standout? I thought he was our best.

Keary mentioned in an interview recently that Smith was a very smart footballer.
