Love it! Is it an original? Not heard it before but will add it to the kit.

BTW, does anyone think that Egan's beautifully executed but disallowed try decision was a bit rough? Was the defender ever a chance of catching up with Toops or Egan? I had the sound off and didn't catch the reason but I presumed it was the Keary interference when falling.

Just popped into my head when I thought about something sweet turning sour. In regard to your EB question, I was astounded that it was disallowed. I watched the game again and slowed down and repeated the incident. Keary was running and had just passed to his left, leaving his arms to his left side. He was tackled immediately after passing and did not adjust his arms at all, probably just twisting his hands to brace for impact. He was literally tackled into the player that he was charged for impeding. The first law of physics says that he had no choice but to collide with the player. EB was robbed, no doubt.

    • Super performance, and considering the artillery we still have to come back, we present a very daunting team for the rest of the competition.

Surprised how many people seem particularly unhappy with the ending? I didn't like conceding the tries either, but the game was completely over and we were well and truly never in doubt. It's not a good habit but happens to teams week in and week out, and doesn't concern me all that much in this instance. These guys just beat the Panthers last week, and we basically cruised to a win without a host of stars.

Also felt that the referee put the whistle in the back pocket for that last 10 minutes. Pretty sure I counted several knock-ons in the ad-lib play from the Eels in the last 10 minutes that might've been pulled up if the result of the game was in any doubt.

Sidenote, but the Eels have a bit of a habit of taking out Tedesco.

Anyway, definite pass-mark so far for the team. Next few weeks against the Storm in Melbourne and the Sharks will another good test.
Brandon Smith also looks super dangerous.

Or Melbourne or Brisbane or maybe the Shire. I think Mick has about 17 options.

Interestingly no real praise of the Roosters style of game or defence during the match. It was all about Parra. The roosters got the wraps post game.
It’s difficult to get a 80min performance. Last night they were humming. Others have praised the players performances and I would like to make mention about Fletch Baker. He seemed faster last night so he must be working on his speed.
The way the commenpotators went on last night I thought it was Parra vs Parra!

Like, are we so evil?! Whenever we lead or win it's like the air has been sucked out of the room, and all they talk about is what our opponents have to do to win/reclaim the lead. Yet when we are losing/lose, its the 2nd coming of Jesus.

Keary did grab the Parra players jumper - which of course begs the question - if a defender did that then they would likely get 10 in the bin (professional foul) but since an attacking player did this it is just a penalty - an anomaly in the rules.

Not really as I his prevented us a try not the opposition

He has every right to have his arms outstretched with his palms open, a common position to be in when passing the ball. Try being hit from behind and not grabbing at anything in reach to lessen your impact with the ground. Every player tackled within immediate vicinity of another player, regardless of team, does it. Try not catching a tennis ball if I toss it to you from a couple of metres away, without forewarning you. They call this amazing magic reflex, something inherent in all able bodied people. The Parra player had no chance of impacting the try. EB was robbed and Keary was needlessly punished.

We can't change the decision now anyway and it will forever on be a subjective topic of discussion. I'm right though

Indeed you are right. We have seen a few encouraging examples so far this season of the bunker exercising common sense and justice - eg Cody Wanker dive with Paulo try - but this one went against us and shouldn't have.

Have sat in the members for both games so far this year, against the Warriors sat in the lower deck of the members, padded seats great and felt like you were on top of the action but something just felt like it was missing, last night sat in the upper deck of the members right on the half way line, beautiful view of the whole ground, reminded me of sitting in the members of the old stadium but it was so much superior this time and getting out from the upper level was so much easier getting out than the lower section of the members. Still going to take a while to get used to the new place but think i found my preferred seating option already.

Apparently the Dragons could be having a cleanout/'fire sale', reportedly.
