True, although I have a 3 hr drive first thing tomorrow, so I'll have to be a little conservative on the celebratory front.

I'm warming to the thought of the game. Lodge is such a big in for us, especially as they are missing Finucane & Rudolph. We should really dominate the middle, and when that happens our backs will thrive. Teddy & Manu will rip them up.

    Bring it on.

We’ll need to have our defence in order as the sharks have a lot of points in them and love to throw the ball around.

We have a great prop rotation and should dominate them all over the park. We are their bunnies and our streak over them should continue tonight. No excuses, no blaming the ref. We have a very good side tonight. I expect nothing less than a comfortable win.

I’ll be in the dirt on the hill with my three boys at their shithouse excuse of a “stadium”. No doubt surrounded by their fourteen year old drunken wax-head fans. Can’t wait! Hope to see some of you out there.

my prediction is that we will be losing at half time and as a result will have 2-3 new threads of how its the end of the world...we will then go on to win.

Games aren't won on paper though and one can say the Sharks would have been stewing for 2 weeks after their loss to the Warriors after leading 20-0 after 18 minutes.

Beware of the bounce back factor.

So what's your prediction then? Are we going to win or do you think the Sharks will bounce back too hard?

Like we did in the last 8 rounds of 22. It would be nice if this was the start of a run like that in the first half of the season.

Although I’m expecting a win, like every week, I won’t be really confident until we can get some consistency. Hopefully that comes with troops available and starts tonight.

A win will do for now… leading into/during/after Origin time, will reveal more of how successful a harvest we are due this season.

The Sharks are a good side and well coached so talk of an easy/comfortable win is not what I see happening.

One can pre select a winner but that is often based on if a certain team plays to their ability or near enough to it compared to the ability of the team they are opposing

I have tipped the Roosters to win but the question mark is always whether they will be focused for the full 80 minutes or still have these performance peaks and troughs during a game

That is when they fail to complete sets at a high % / errors and missed tackles mount and they become ill-disciplined i.e concede penalties /set restarts and players are sin binned.

Tough one tonight on what looks like it will be a heavy track at shark park.
They have a great back 5 at getting the ball out of their end and Nicho is a beauty who is always asking questions of the defence.
We will have to really improve our ball handling in wet conditions but think we can get on top in the forwards with Lodge back and them missing a couple of hard heads up front.
Keary and Walker will have to aim up in defence as they have a couple of very hard hole running backrowers.
                            Easts to win

I promise I won't post till after the game. And I'll be restrained either way.
I do think it'll be a hard slog and low scoring affair on a heavy track. When was the last time we played this early on a Friday? Could be a factor.

A little like pulling teeth, but we got there. Thank you.

Of course nothing is guaranteed, but without Finucane & Rudolf we really should be able to dominate the middle, and that usually equates to a win.
