He clearly does, he covers centre.

Now whether you think he’s capable of doing that is a different story but that’s 100% why he’s being selected.

I don’t think he is capable at center in any way,

Whether clubs use another method is unknown as in the past they would have folk recording all types of stats.
Who cares what the nrl defines a missed tackle king, you as a team can have a missed tackle count 0f say 20 and it doesn't necessarily matter because your teammates who are on your shoulder or coming across in cover make the tackle and clean it up sometimes within a meter of you missing your man. The missed tackles that hurt are the ones that lead to try's here is an example 1 on 1 on an edge and you are stepped inside or out and its try time for your opposing center or again missing an edge forward off a short ball close to your line. If you miss a tackle after a kick close to your opponent's line who gives a shit because 99 times out of 100 your teammates will clean it up. so what matters is where the tackle was missed and what resulted from the missed tackle that is the important thing .

I would rather pick Tupouniua there next week even though he’ll only be 1 game and a half back from an ACL reconstruction.

              • I think tonight was a pretty flat end to our sets, the bombs were Pearce like predictable. We really needed some variety and maintained field possession, a repeat set off a Grubber would’ve been nice.

mind you, to lose a man in todays game is almost garunteeing a loss. The spine need to take better control in the red zone, and we’ll give ourselves a chance.

We were shite, but that ref was a nob and whilst we did cop some deserved penalties there were a number that were nit picky. The butcher sin bin was a joke.

anyway take our lessons and onto the next

He’s not wearing Red, White & Blue, so he’ll be fine.

Storm player just got reported but stayed on the field for a hip drop much much worse than Butcher's.

                          FFS Rugby League is broken.

Jake T just dropped Munster on his head & stayed on the field.

                            Lol at the NRL.

We did get the wooden spoon once with Robbo after Pearce was sidelined for the dog incident but we came back and won premierships. This year seems to be a repeat. We aren’t combining. Our top stars are mediocre. I think we just are not adjusting well to the new rules which are causing us to hold back for fear of sin bins, suspensions and HIA. It’s just not RL anymore.
