Yeah kicking is an issue - can't kick long and don't kick high enough - and zero set repeats

      Yep.. no creative kicking.

just bomb end over end and hope for the best.

they need to take lessons from Burton and Cleary

Walker doesn’t have the organisational skills or kicking game to be a halfback yet.

He’s not even offering any creativity in the side anymore because he’s so bogged down trying to worry about working to a point on the field and where he needs to be for last play kicks. His talent is being wasted.

We look our best when Keary is touching the ball 3-4 times per set. There was a few of those back to back with 15-20 mins to go and it looked like we might go on with it but then he got hit hard and went missing for the next 5 minutes.

We are allergic to repeat sets. Keary has to step up and own games like that

drunk talk but f it, what I've seen is poor tackle 5 option and our outside back is consistently loses contest to theirs. We dominated them or 70% of the game but our disinterested playmaker & outside back turn over the ball cheaply.

sugarcoat it all you want but it's our playmaker & outside back playing less enthuisuasm as the opponent

The reason we never get repeat sets is because the boys play in Red, White and Blue. Cronulla were off side and in their faces all frigging night. How the call can you gain ascendancy when you're down 9-2 in the penalty count after 25 minutes and can't get a repeat set? That referee is a frigging criminal.
1985: 1 try vs Parramatta, 1 try vs Manly, 1 try vs Wests, 2 tries vs Souffs
1986: 2 tries vs Illawarra, 1 try vs Balmain, 2 tries vs Norths.

Keary needs to play 7.. until Walker gets his confidence and understanding back

no its because whenever we have an attacking kick opportunity we put up a boring safe box corner kick ...safe as a house , may as well have kept mitchell pearce he put em a little higher

Sam Walker was playing better football when he was 15. He has had the rugby league coached out of him. That was him twice in the mics saying ‘f*ck on the back of his 2 errors, where as growing up he’d throwing cut out ball very next set.

Fitzy too good a defensive coach against a conservative game plan. A couple brain explosions from Walker.

Keary and walkers strength is their short kicking game. Why aren’t we trying to go for repeat sets. Every time we kicked high and to our wingers on their try line, and it never worked.

Well, yeah, that too. But Jesus H Christ, you need to get down that end of the field first. And hold the bloody ball. It wasn't so long ago that Toops and Suallii were scoring tries off bombs. Now they suddenly can't even get their hands near the ball.

Our biggest issue with our 6 & 7 is they’re 2 little bodied halves..

not only are they target more defensively which seems to be hampering their attack.

but I’ve noticed it’s effecting our centres who consistently seem to rush out of the line to try and shut down sweeping plays only to miss their mark and leave us vulnerable.

as much as I love the butcher boys and think they’ve done an awesome job. They have zero punch in attack and again, this doesn’t allow our halves to spread to them to create opportunities out wide.
