We look our best when Keary is touching the ball 3-4 times per set. There was a few of those back to back with 15-20 mins to go and it looked like we might go on with it but then he got hit hard and went missing for the next 5 minutes.

You know what your talking about R6 why do we give Walker so long to get it right ?

They need dominant ball runners outside then
eg Gus and Sitili who should be back next week

I think the refs were not solely to blame. For starters, the game plan was pathetic and the 6 and 7 were disjointed!

The blocker is creeping back into the game and is not being penalised. We were guilty of it too. But it is very effective at keeping Tupou out of the aerial game.

Can't see Keary being extended and now I'm questioning whether Walker is the long-term #7.

Do we have anyone coming through that could take Keary's place next season? Just had a look at who is off contract in 2023 - 2024 who could play 6 and the options are pretty limited apart from Jarome Luai who you would think probably will leave Penrith and chase a big deal.

Of course Manu is an option also and there are probably some gun centres available to recruit then also, I'd love to see what Manu can do at 6 as soon as possible but unlikely to see that unless Keary is out.

From the days of Fittler I loved the repeat set.

Build pressure, build pressure - Score.

The 10 metre short drop out to regain possession has killed it off. Shame.

Unless you have chasers ready to pounce on grubbers it's not an advantage.

Our best chaser is Collins lol, the other one is to busy emulating the Tassie devil from the cartoons.

We also get knocked over constantly trying to chase grubbers through with no penalty.

How many tackles did Walker miss last night? I was behind the posts so couldn’t see a lot but from what I saw he fell off a few.

Neither half can kick long or high enough. Costs the team.

Imagine our kicking game with Walker and Manu. Would be even worse.

A brief annalagy from last night is.
                          our attack
we run 1 of the ruck in the middle 3rd of the field. Run1 Butcher. Then 2poo. Paulo. Jaz or Linds run on tackle 4 then a medium bomb straight down the middle of the field straght to the fullback with no pressure from us. And repeat.snd repeat and repeat
                          Teddy over tries his hand
                          manu looked tired
2poo looks frustrated with Sualli jumping at every thing getting in his road.
Smiths service is as good as Lussicks and isnt fit enough for 40 minutes
jaz and lodge are making sfa pcms.

My fix would be smith for 25 to 30 mins first half with Turpin on after that til half time. Yes i know that will mean we drop Hutch.

Use our forwards wider in the attack. Not first reciever but a second with a support player.

Use Teddy more as a decoy out the back line1. He will draw 2 defenders every time.

                            Can Manu kick?

Or do we hit the market to replace Keary?

I would put Sualli back to the wing.
Rads moved from the ruck to edge defence next to Sammy.
                              Turps into the 17.
