I'd debate that, turpin played half in the trial and looked comfortable there.

But an out an out 9, yes.

He is not doing much of a job covering in the centers. God knows how he would go covering on the wing i know how that would turn out and it would be not very well for the chooks. i never want to see him at fullback if Hutch was to run our wearing the number 1 were screwed. He can't play in the middle or as an edge forward in fact I'm struggling to find a spot that hutch can cover in a first grade rugby league side he didn't go too well at hooker the other night. This bloke is nowhere as good as Auberon who i believe should have played rep footy. Jeez i hope watson can get back soon.

True, Hutch can cover all positions on the field, none of them well.
Seriously, he is a liability which is being exploited, he is the weakest link,
I think he not only stuffs up whatever position he plays, but he's like a virus, he weakens the positions around him by making them second guess their own roll.

Clearly our halves are a complete embarrassment.

We shoulda signed Tyson Gamble and Jackson Hastings for $$$ when we had the chance.

Our halves have been our biggest let down this year. So many sets in the final third but they just can't seem to get the attack humming.

When Connor Watson returns later in the year, both Hutch and Turpin will be out of the starting 17 automatically !

Both Hutch and Turpin are only interim/stop-gap solutions for our squad.

You would think so but Connor played best when he was used as a prop in the middle last year.

                    I fully expect

                    14. Hutch
                    14.Watson

Two utilities on the bench ??? ... I don't see the point because Connor can cover dummy-half, lock and even in the halves, so he's just as versatile as Hutch and offers those positions coverage with more speed/X factor. He'd also be ok to slot in to the backs as well if needed (where I think he could probably do a better job than Hutch, as well - in my opinion)

Last week Keary and Walker were just so impotent. Their kicking games were ****ing horrible. It seems like Walker needs a bigger body and boot in his halves partner.
