No from me for Luai. Very overrated and hangs on Cleary's coat tails. Even at origin I think a Burton-Cleary or Keary-Cleary combo would be better for NSW

The problem with Hutch in the halves (besides that he would be at best 4th in the pecking order for halves at our club) is that he is too slow to take on the line

        No.

Hutch needs to get the big boot however.

I've been happy with Kez getting back in the groove so far this year, one of the highlights in an average start to the year overall.

Sammy not so much, his kicking game esp worries me.

When the remaining players return hutch has to go, no offence to the lad but he's like a bad talisman linked to our horrific injury toll from recent seasons past.

Injury wise we're a lot better this year apart from Watson, so his days in first grade must be numbered.

Why on earth did we sign turpin who does a fine job at DH and can even slot into the halves?

Hutch is the face of the anti-sombrero. A salary cap red herring if you will.

You're probably right Coach. Betcha he would thrive under Bellamy or Bennett however.

The 10 metre short drop out to regain possession has killed it off. Shame.

Unless you have chasers ready to pounce on grubbers it's not an advantage.

Our best chaser is Collins lol, the other one is to busy emulating the Tassie devil from the cartoons.
that’s actually a really good point, short drop outs have weakened the effectiveness of getting a repeat set from a line drop out. That probably explains why we were just kicking across field to our wingers, which I was annoyed with at the time.

Might be worth taking a leaf out of rugby's handbook for defending short drop outs and kick offs and start practising lifting a team mate in the air to catch the ball.

Coach Robinson will always consider the mercurial Hutchinator for the 17 each week

Turpin in the halves ?? - I can remember him playing some games in the halves for the Bronco's - Johns asking Lockyer if he was the Bronco's half going forward pre Reynolds time- Lockyer replying that Turpin's best position is Dummy Half- that succinctly summed it up. - A NO from me as well

Only a one year signing especially with Tyler Moriarty and Thomas Deakin on the books

That would be a penalty in League though I assume - A type of Obstruction

We should do it once and watch Sutton/klien/Atkins head explode

It is indeed very frustrating Walker and Keary are not powerful boots. Just watching the dogs and eels - Burton has the most powerful boot in the game, I'd love us to have that - but both Flanagan and he possess little more combined. So the grass is not necessarily greener. Parra's halves are switched on. Plus dare I ask - should we have kept Matterson and flicked Victor??

Turpin is a better bench/rake option than Hutch every day of the week.

But Hutch can cover more positions while Turpin is really only a nine.
