There's no cohesion or combinations, and they play one out. They never threatened Cronulla all night.
The last tackle option was always to go to the air, and hope for a miracle.
That's not the way to win a premiership.
Is it my imagination that the backline looks slow and tired?
True Rooster Mac. And that comes with coaching and preparation.

But against the Eels we were hot and looked in sync. Maybe the Sharks defensive tactics put us off dunno, clutching at straws.

The difference is DCE would have also had a great second career in acting.

All I've got is that it's only Rd 7 & there's still 20 to go.

We will surely click at some stage & go on a decent run. We are too good a team not to.

However it seems similar to last year where we will play 1 good game then 2 bad resulting in leaving too much to do at the back end.

Standing offside is a great defensive tactic, Penrith did it for two years straight and look where it got them.

Agree. Need to reflect on the current performance of the players and not the refs!

For clarity, the above image is not a try as Collins is short of the line. The below image is of Cheese doing an insanely dangerous, sin-binnable shoulder charge to somebody's head.

We didn't play like the best team in the comp and I don't wanna do too much woulda/shoulda. However, the ref was shyte and IMO it's okay to say it occasionally.
Is the Sharks players hand under the ball in that Picture of the Collins try attempt?

If his fingers are 12 inches long then no try.

                      Good game boys

Was adamant we'd lose that, think the beating you gave us last year and that Warriors debacle had the team motivated.

Wont comment on the referring as everyone sees things from their teams perspective. Agree to disagree but still feel the better team won on the night which for me is important.

I think dropping Walker seems dramatic but does seem like your halves dont offer much point of difference, both small, neither has a huge boot, not exactly running halves etc. No doubt you'll destroy the Dragons.

Must be hard to see a game from a 14-4 penalty count in your favour, 3 sin bins and an incorrectly disallowed opposition try..

In saying all that, we probably didn’t deserve to win, but it still hurts when we also aren’t given a chance.

I'd just like to congratulate our former defensive coach, Craig Fitzgibbon. When he was with us our players were mercilessly penalised for defensive indiscretions for years. He clearly has adopted a very different approach at the Sharks.

Had only he'd done that at the Roosters. How many more premierships might we have won?

Which of the four penalties we got weren't you happy with?

Haha....We do value our penalties here at the Roosters, they are precious. Remember each one of them.
