Getting rid of Robbo does not mean he’s a bad coach. He just seems to have lost interest. . Robbo may have become bored and disinterested after so many years at the roosters with the same team. It doesn’t seem he is teaching the team any new tricks as we just do the same each week. When apathy sets in then new blood is needed and it’s time for a change.

I remember Flanagan was the NRL leading point scorer when dumped by Robbo. Walkers got a lot of talent. Maybe Queensland have made him a secret massive offer and the club found out about it? Walker is a very good half back but Robbo seems to blame losses on the HB. So who would want to come to the roosters the way we treat our halves?

I seem to remember many posters on here going on and on about Robbo persevering with Pearce for year after year at halfback, so I fail to see how he blames halfbacks for all losses.

I didn’t say that all coach that played first grade regularly would automatically be better than Robbo blindly defending Robbo won’t solve the problems the team faces at the moment. Someone like Cooper Cronk IMO is much needed as coach.

The blaming of Pearce was left to those on here. Robbo was spared in that regard.

if Walker doesn’t get his spot back and is moved on… that will be 2 x young halves taken in then promptly spat out fairly quickly and without any real development to show for it. That won’t be a good track record when the next young prospect is looking for a home

So we just re-signed Sam until the end of 2025. He gets dropped like Manu and Trell did before him and all of a sudden you think he won't get his spot back and we could spit him out a few months after we were desperate to re-sign him?

how long do you see Walker in reserve grade? I see this as being a several week stint at a minimum. If we start winning without him I can’t see why he’d be brought back for a while tbh.

He appears disinterested in fixing our discipline. I think 14 penalties and continual sin bins and suspensions speaks volumes yet he doesn’t appear interested. Did you hear the press conference where he was asked the question and said he didn’t think our discipline was a problem? That’s as disinterested and in denial as a coach can get in my opinion.

Difference here is that Latrell is an elite player. Walker over-rated by media as a 'star'.
