Early season wins make it easier come September, particularly with injuries which we'll certainly have more of.

Gelling. Combos. Trial and errors. Like he did when we first got Teddy and Cronk and the same panickers said our season was over mid-season and both were a waste of money. There are more Sally's in here than you think.

Mostly Sam team as last year barring cheese so he's taking his sweet bloody time

New combos on both sides. Toups/JS and Manu/Paulo. New dummy half. No Gus or Satili on the edges. Butcher brothers instead. Bench has been an issue but will improve. There are plenty of differences to last year. Patience. You will all be back on the bandwagon later in the year banging your chests as Roosters supporters exactly the same as 2018 with Coggy driving the bus.

Most of the team is fundamentally the same .Sure cheese in a crucial spot but 95% have been in the team for at least a few years . Plenty of time to form combos .I'm not into excuses just results

Yes bring them both back on each edge next week
                  Nat but suspended anyway
                  Egan to the bench
then nat takes bench spot following week
butcher have no power in attack or d
                  just battlers
we have missed gus and Sitili a lot

I’d wait and play them against Warriors A couple of fresh players off a five day back up and trip to NZ will be handy NRL have not missed us with that type of draw

In fairness the Warriors play the Storm in Melbourne on Anzac Day. They stuffed up there so they'll make up for it by dishing up something similar to the Sharks game.

After consideration I feel we are getting better with players returning. Here’s my truths of what I see.
                        1. Toups seems to be playing like he’s old. Hope I’m wrong. He gets metres but not himself yet this season
                        2. Paulo scores tries but he can’t stay on his wing in defence
                        3. our edges are not bending the line. I think back to how dominant we were with Cords and Maubs. We need sitili and Gus back
                        4. I cannot see why Hutch gets Getting picked. He is versatile but average. Last night’s selection over Turpin was another example of selection errors. Many see this. Those that don’t call us not true supporters. Quite simply he ain’t a rooster FGer
                        5. cheese’s first half should have won us that game
                        6. the Lindsay no try. Ref made a ruling after giving us nothing all night. Seems the bunker wanted to support the refs decision and acted in haste. They cut away too quickly from the camera angle behind the in goal before the lunge took him onto the line
                        7. that ref was on a mission
                        8. tactics. Our 6th tackle attacking kicks did not work and we had no plan B. Who is our attacking coach
                        9. coaches. One more performance like last nights and Nick should call them in for a please explain
                        10. With all of above said, I feel the inclusion of powerful line bending second rowers will make a huge difference to both attack and reduce Sam’s defensive workloads freeing him up to attack. When you couple a solid front row with three powerful props we have forwards to win the premiership. We can rest and rotate and include butcher boys to bench

I'll admit when Watson did his knee in the preseason I thought we would cover him ok. I was wrong. Also a huge out.

DJ Napsta hears your request and will drop the needle for you. Just kidding. I think that Angus will be back next week since he apparently played very solidly today. I don't believe that Sitili Toups2 will be ready for at least a few more weeks. Just a hunch. I also believe that having AC back will be beneficial to the progress of the younger Butcher who still needs an experienced mentor. You can call me over-optimistic, but I reckon that Chricton will bring the cohesion and inspiration that we are lacking, and Sitili will provide the X-factor that Keary and Walker are currently lacking.

Angus and stilli back into the 2nd row ,The butchers and the baker can go back to reggies and the hutchinator can go with them how's that for a start for fixing our problems/ or am i being a bit harsh with the axe there.

Gus should come in next week which covers the loss of Nat and hopefully also provides some cover in the backs if we pick up an injury.

Turpin needs to be in the 17. Hutch just fills a spot when Cheese is having a break and we lost serious momentum on Friday during this period. Turin brings some spark at least and Hutch was lazy in the ruck after 5 mins.

We hopefully halve a bench of Turpin, Lodge, Baker and May this week.
