The thing I don't get and I'm not saying I like the bagging of our team but can you really say he is wrong .We are not performing very well is the reality of the situation .

It was not that bad. Robbo trying to get them to play a finals style power game like backend of last year. No touch footy, no flare, just mistake free power footy. Despite getting hammered by the ref, take away a couple sin bins and we probably win it easy against a good team coming off a bye.

Let's revisit this in a few weeks' time when Lodge back to his best, and we add the likes of Crichton, Brown, and Napa into the power mix.

Oh, forget Napa. He won't help.
1985: 1 try vs Parramatta, 1 try vs Manly, 1 try vs Wests, 2 tries vs Souffs
1986: 2 tries vs Illawarra, 1 try vs Balmain, 2 tries vs Norths.

Ray’s only ever here after we lose. He loves a loss.

Penrith have Cleary. Penrith were lucky to win, but when all you do is look at the final score without analysing the actual whole 80 minutes, these are the sorts of threads you get.

You say that with such conviction about an ex-rep player who has everything to play for.

He has done more at 25 than any of them had done at the same age. Cronk does not belong in that list.

You call yourself Ray Stehr, well he would be onto you in no time at all if he were still here. Your attitude sucks quite frankly why don't you go support Penrith then.

Is that really 'heart' or is it choking and then getting REALLY lucky?

We had heart and Collins crashed over at the right time. Say what you like but IMO the Sharks game really isn't an example of a fair loss. Collins scored and the ref took away the whole 'what woulda happened'... including by sending Cheese off (and earlier on incorrectly sending Rads off rather than calling a knock-on against Cronulla). It was a shyte show!
They almost lost but they found a way to win, they showed grit something we fail to show.

I don't think Penrith get the rub of the green from refs like Souths do, they are just an extremely well drilled, enthusiastic and determined team led by a great half-back who knows how to get it done under pressure. The whole second half the knights looked like they were just hanging on in defence and losing the arm wrestle.
The set when they received the kick off in golden point was perfect in execution starting with Leinu's charge and ending in Clearys field goal.

If the Knights goal kicker kicked that last goal then Panther Ray would have started a who should replace coach Cleary in the panthers forum. Heart didn't win it for them.

Thought they were amazing in defence on their line with 12 men and enduring a 7-0 penalty count in the first half against Cronulla. They are continually playing a man down in the fastest rugby league competition in the world. It's going to catch up with you.

Not sure if Penrith have more heart than other teams but they do have the mentality and stamina to play 80 minutes week in week out.

It is no coincidence that they have reached this level as it takes hard work not only in pre-season and in preparation for the upcoming match but also in the game itself.

They are not going to beat themselves and to beat them you need to stay in the game and grind for the full 80 minutes - 50 or 60 minutes won't cut the mustard.

As I have said many times the Roosters have peaks and troughs in their performance in games so they need work harder on reaching a level of play that they can sustain for the full 80 minutes week in week out.

Only when they achieve the above will they become a serious contender because as at this stage they are not.

if we couldhave anything of penriths aside from their halfback , id get their strength and conditioning guy, they seem so fit and dont get many injuries- mind you they play a young mans game because they are still a ypungish team i believe .
