So if we don't win the whole thing then the whole year is a complete right off. I was brought up following a Roosters team that was always competitive from rd1 to the gf. I didn't realise that one was mutually inclusive. I must be weird then, wanting my team to win every week, go figure. Oh yeah that's the Roosters way. In future I'll ignore the first 3 months of the comp and just tune in after origin, stupid me.

Penrith did have 3 years of no injured while their main competitors like chooks and storm had multiple! Rugby league is alot about luck with injuries

I still reckon 2021 was one of the next sides we ever fielded, with the Morris brothers in their best ever form, and Collins and Lui coming off the bench in the prop rotation
unfortunalty by the end of the season we have only 4 of our top 17 players still in the field
and we finished 5th, who else would finish that high with so many players out

that also shows how lop sides the comp was then, now the top sides have slid a little and bottom sides getting better where this year we see a much more competitive comps. If your not on the day uou can get beaten by anyone which is want you want
