In saying all of this, I don’t know if the Hutch/Keary combo is capable of winning games and we have come to the point where we need to string some wins.
This will be a test for Robbo to see just how good a coach he is.

He isn’t getting hammered for no reason. He has a team full of guns, all which are well underperforming. We should be challenging for a minor premiership and be sitting pretty in the top four. But instead we are going to be chasing hard to make the top 8 (again).
If you’re happy with missing finals, or scraping in just to get bundled out in week 1 that’s fine but I had much higher expectations this year.Last edited by Qld Chook; 05-29-2023, 03:31 PM.

We are all allowed our opinions without it being classified as stupidity (in your words)
Walker should be playing this week if not for the Coach’s stupidity and stubbornness!

What a depressing take.
If I was his manager I’d be advising him to ensure he is no only 100% recovered but also 100% back to fitness before entertaining first grade again.
He has a decade of football ahead of him, but it’s not clear what club that will be for at this point

I thought the timeline was a bit out of whack when first announced as Mitchell Lewis from Hawthorn had the exact same injury occur during their preseason this year and he was sidelined for multiple months.

Obviously tempting to rush him back when the alternatives are Hutchison and Manu at 6,but better for the Club to be cautious with this one…

Exactly. But I suppose if he did do his ACL proper, people could just blame Robbo.

Why is it ok for you to label Robinson's opinion and stupidity but I can't label yours as stupidity?
C'mon Lydon... bit of consistency.

I'm not using injuries as an excuse and won't, I don't think our injury toll this year has been that bad.
