The Walker relegation from the run on side - it's like a personal insult to them that Coach Robinson had made such decision - It's the end of world as we know it
If peoples lives revolve around the success or otherwise of a sporting team they follow and what players are selected to play then they really need to re-assess their own lives one has to honestly say
It's only a game of football in the end and win lose or draw there is another game next week - same as another season next year if they don't win this season.
If anything, I've remained consistent and actually said it would make sense for Drew to take a place in the halves given he is a specialist half with a solid long kicking game. Whilst I wouldn't love Hutch over Walker in the halves, it would make more sense than bringing him on for a handful of minutes every week to play out of position for the sake of giving him a run.

More importantly. Think about the winning streak. It was due to the best front row rotation in the comp with JWH/SST/Lodge/Collins. Last week we had several missing forwards and an underdone Lodge. We have massive upside in our forwards, and still with the likes of Brown and Napa to potentially play a part later on.

It is astonishing the number of Chicken Littles in here this year and as you said it is only April.
Usually we are laughing at Parra and the Dragons being on top of the ladder at this time of year and laughing at their supporters.
This year we are 2 points off second position, no team looks to be dominating, it looks a much easier comp this year than last year and barring injury we should have a fully fit team in a few weeks. It is all about injuries for us this year (like the last three years). If the injury gods have moved on we will be primed come September.
we are 100 points for and against worse than Penrith, we have worse for and against than teams below us.
We probably need to win 75% of our remaining games to make the top 4. If we don't make top 4 we won't make the GF, let alone win the comp.
We are pinning our hopes on players returning from long term injuries and players we picked up cheaply because they are out of form.
We are in a huge struggle, I hope we can pull out of it but the signs don't look good, any injury to Teddy or Keary and we are in deep shiit.
While Hutch is considered a certainty for our starting 17 times are tough.Last edited by NorfolkStreetKid; 04-19-2023, 02:32 PM.

Even if we had beaten Dogs and Dragons and still decided to sign Lodge, we needed to beat the Storm to ensure a top 4 spot. It was chasing victory in the Storm game which ended our season due to JWH busted hand and Collins suspension.

Worth noting that the Riff have been playing well below their potential and have been rusty, particularly defensively yet they have far better defensive record than us at present and have had a harder run yet have lost only twice both only by 1 pt. They will get a lot better even though they are currently better than us by a long way as it stands.
