    ROOSTERS SQUAD v DRAGONS
    Round 8 - Tuesday 25th April @ 4:05pm Allianz Stadium, Sydney

No commentary on last weeks game, there's been 8 zillion comments in other threads. The Dragons are a basket case, but I'm just not even going to bother making any predictions. Who knows which Roosters side will show up, and the Merge always aim up for this game, so to a large extent, form goes out the window anyway.

The Roosters have won eight of their past nine games against the Dragons.

The big news is team changes. Walker dropped, Manu at 5/8, Angus returns with Nat suspended, Tupouniua on the bench.

Jazz will play a record 12th Anzac Day game.

I love this ANZAC Day game.

My daughter gets married next Saturday, I'm hoping for a wedding present out of this game ... I bloody hope I'm not dissappointed.

    GO EASTS !!

Keen to see Manu and Keary put their tricks and natural instinct away and try that midfield chip/bomb to the wingers instead of seeing Sam and Keary put their natural instinct away to try that midfield chip/bomb to the wingers. Bound to work this week!

In better news, good to see Angus back.

Cannot believe all this time we had the answer right in front of us on how to get back in the premiership race. Put Hutch AND Momo in the 17. Brilliant. Trust in Trent.

Smith will have to kick more from dummy half as Manu has never shown ability in this department

Best bench we've had all year.
Lodge looked underdone last week so hopefully he comes up better second up after a spell.

Hope there are plenty of stoppages during the game so they can stretch Smiths minutes out....not that i don't love to see Hutch struggle to get to dummy half after being on for 5min

Unfortunately momo had to come in for walker as he is some sort of a goalkicker. .....wouldn't want to rely on Teddy as goal kicker....Dragons now already have a +4 point advantage in the kicking dept.

Have you seen Lomax kicking lately? Cost them about 3 wins already this season.

But yeah I think you are right. Cant see any other reason why Momo has come in.

3 players first game back after long breaks
Hutch the Crutch still on the bench
                  Swahili still in the centre
                  E Butch starting
we are still no certainties to win this.

I'd have Walker on the bench ahead of Crutch, he tackles better, kicks better, runs better

Good to see a specialist centre Momo back in. And great to see Angus and Sitili back.

And Robbo actually made a tough call!

Hope the move to 6 gets Joey to pull the finger out.

I hope Momo has his mojo back! I’m gonna be having nightmares this weekend about him and Paulo defending that right edge. Actually come to think of it Keary, Crichton, Momo and Paulo have defended as a unit all year together. Could be a long afternoon at the office. Dragons will be peppering that side at every opportunity I’d say.
                      Red, White and Bluesters!!!

The dropping of walker might show players like radley then all can be dropped
I think harsh on walker though
momo scares me I have never seen a player look so out of place like he did last year
could not defend and horrible in attack
continually put high balls down and hen defending and attacking

Hopefully Robbo can stick true to form shown this season and let Hutcho ride the pine for the full 80.

kidding - although I’m not a massive fan of Hutch, he can defend well in the middle and has a good clearing left boot.

would work well in giving Radley a spell when he becomes fatigued and starting doing silly stuff - that’s sticking true to form.

                              Few positives
                              - Great to see gus and Sitili back so quick
                              - only Watson and butcher out of the 17 atm with butcher coming back next week
                              - players will be looking over their shoulders
Egan and May with butcher coming back next week, brown must have made an impression to get in 19 this week so radley better watch out
                              - I think walker was a little hard done by but imagine he will come back hard - remember this happened to latrell and others
                              - fletcher baker also back - but in reserves - shows how strong our depth is now, he was in the 17 and now can’t get in 22 man squad

                              outs
                              - butcher back next week - Egan / May and radley will have to watch themselves
                              - Watson
                              - smith - i wonder why he was named last week then now a few weeks off, would this be mental like cordner comming back from injury?
                              - toia should not be far away

apart from this injures are not an excuse now
