  • Sorry but we're not going anywhere this year.

So much potential and I support us to the end but after watching what we're fishing up against a average dragons team it's clear we're going now where this year.

It sucks and I hope we improve vur something is missing and I don't know what. Maybe heart.

We play like a team that met on the day ( still )

      Enjoy the win mate.

It was an epic game, we got the 2 points, and we won it down a man for 10 minutes.

We are a very very dumb footy side But we showed real heart to win that once Radley was binned in a disgusting decision

Maybe it has something to do with most of our backline playing out of position; yet again. Our middle was again quite solid; backline woeful.

We are a team of champions but not a champion team.

Just about in every position we have player in the top 3 in that position of the NRL but they aren’t clicking as a team.
I don’t know what is going on but we have have time to turn it around and still win the premiership.
We can’t just coast to the top 8, it seems the players have listened to the experts and think we just have to turn up to win the premiership. We need to finish 4 to have any chance.

I’m praying we have a late season run like last year just minus the injuries

Dug deep to get a gritty win.

Players looked filthy at full time realising it never should have got that close. Not much celebration.

                  7pts scored in 3 combined 2nd half's in a row.

Still more questions than answers with this team.

Terrible performance. Let it sink in that it was the Dragons that we beat, regardless of 12 men or not. They are deadset reserve grade level for the most part. They looked absolutely hopeless and disjointed on the ball yet STILL cut us open and managed to score 26 against us.

Do not give me "dont be negative" rubbish. Spoken by someone who has no idea what they are talking about. If you put "we play for premierships" as the club motto, you don't celebrate performances like this. No change whatsoever, if anything worse because we conceded more points.

Manu toiled at 6. Was basically handed the ball in broken play and expected to beat 3 players to spark us into life... which is EXACTLY how he plays at centre. Not Joey's fault. Its "Roosters footy" fault. Nothing has changed.

Finally, disgusting decision on Radley. Regardless of his form, he has been absolutely dudded there and binned on reputation.

Title of this thread sums it up perfectly...

I'm with you on this. I think we've played better in some of our recent losses against better opposition.

But there are some real positives -
                            - Collins continues to be immense,
                            - Egan Butcher was very strong in his best game of the year,
                            - Suaalii looked like Hazem El Masri with his goal kicking,
                            - B Smith had some good touches (but needs Turpin to sub him),
                            - Angus and Sitili now have a game under their belts and will only get better with game time,
                            - Robbo realised Whyte was on the bench and actually used him.

You really must have low standards to be happy with wins like that with our team & super coach.

It wasn't Penrith or Brisbane or South's we beat by 1.

Wait till the Warriors towel us up in NZ.
