And if he played at 6 he probably wouldn’t end up in the bin every game or knocking himself out in the big collisions. Coach Robinson did say that he has a big footy brain or something like that, so maybe he could run the team. Better than the current dud solution.

Vic has the potential to become the best lock in the country if he cleans his act up. Controlled aggression should be his focus moving forward. He'll spend more time on the park and possibly reduce the amount of concussions.

I said in another post last week that Radley would be a great 6, history has shown that some Easts greats like Stevens Peard and Fittler played both positions.
Radley having to work on controlled aggression not an option. He best work on his skills and that be at 6.

The notion of releasing Walker would be up there with calling Teddy the worst buy in club history...

FMD, what lunatic would release Walker with Keary more than likely 1 year away from retirement with no other contingency plan in place.

I'd probably only take 3-4 halves in the entire comp over Walker given his potential and the high ceiling he has.

Picture this……we release Sam Walker at the end of 2023, Keary retires at the end of 2024 and then we have Hutch at 7 and Manu at 6. Heaven help us if Keary gets injured next year.

Great? Not so sure about that. Leave him at 13

Different body shapes playing their true positions.

Hate to say it, but the only option is to release Sammy to Redcliffe.

                      And I love Walker.
Keary will definitely get injured at some point & Sam will be needed.

Walker’s “long” kicking game and height with his bombs are a big concern.

Why can't a half and 5/8 have the same body type anymore?
It worked fine with Cronk and Keary .
Paul Kent keeps banging on about , prepare for 1 prepare for both
                          what a load of shyte

If we let Walker go , what is the alternative? We have invested in him and we should reap the dividends. The guy is a star in the making and the future of the club .
