  • Never going to be anything other but a game of attrition due to the weather conditions as the stats show - i.e Roosters 394 tackles to Warriors 333

Momirovski possible shoulder subluxation/dislocation or pec injury the two alternatives according to the NRL Physio - Scans will tell

im a bit worried about how walker finds his way back , manu is not great at 6 bit we are winning with him there. also i think keary's kicking game whilst not great pisses on walkers, but we need another kick option .

      again sitili outstanding .
Possibly with Walker we put him on the bench instead of Hutch to ease him back in?

      • 5 day turn around. Travel to NZ. Shit conditions.

That’s a very good performance, didn’t let up for one minute in defence. Butcher boys just chopping down blokes left, right & centre. Brandon Smith with a great try saver in the first half and then gave us great line speed in the second half to force some errors. Radley was everywhere, real crucial tackle on Ford for that half break. Outside of that one dropped ball I thought Corey Allan’s clean up work at the back was superb.

I think it became clear the Warriors had run out of ideas mid-way through the 2nd half. Can really shoot your confidence when you’ve got that kind of field position and you’re not creating anything

Yeah didn’t look good when he came from the field. Feel sorry for him, thought he played quite well today.

I think this is a good option. I am a Hutcho fan though

                • I thought we played really well and I'm very impressed with the victory. Of course we weren't perfect but it's definitely positive signs.

More positive signs is that the next 6 rounds sees us go up against the Cowboys (Should belt them), Panthers (A good test against a team that is hot and cold like us), the Dragons (Should beat them), Bulldogs (Should beat them), The Panthers again and then the Knights.

I assume we'll drop one game to the Panthers but we should go on a little bit of a run here...

                      • Alas, didn't get to see the game. Seems like it was a hard fought slug fest. And we play a whole game without a sinbin!

                        • Great win in miserable conditions, bit of flash flooding on the final whistle.

seemed at the ground we were in complete control, warriors fans barely made their usual booes as we shut them down so often. Was completely silent at some points and even the loud speaker was giving the crowd stick.

lovely return to nz for the chooks. Also a pleasant surprise seeing how popular the chooks are in nz.

also, was there any news on Brandon smith, he went down with a few mins left and did not look in a good way. Spent a bit of time conversing with the medical staff on the sideline before being escorted down the tunnel.

What a ridiculous draw. We play Dragons and Panthers twice, 4 weeks apart, we’ve played Warriors twice but haven’t played Broncos Tigers Knights once.

                            • Got to be happy with the win on the heavy 10, I thought our defence was superb . Really become noticeable this year that Lindsay is working so hard in defence. The whole pack didn't stop and Sitili was terrific off the bench in the middle.
I know Manu at 5/8 is looking a bit clunky but it has certainly strengthened our defence and I'm not sure Sam would have stopped Ford on a couple of occasions near the line.
                              Cheese our best for mine.

                              • Our contact in defence today was fantastic. They could never build any momentum in attack because we were so strong.
