Well that was a horrible reffing performance. Hopefully that isn’t a sign to come

Not a great 2nd half from Walker, really needed to do more in controlling where that game went.
Naufahu Whyte the stand out IMO, strong carries in yardage and didn’t seem to drop off in quality despite playing large minutes.
Some nice touches from Nathan Brown with some late offloads and some really nice work in the lead up to the 3rd try.
Would be a very fun reserve grade side to watch if we didn’t have players stretched over 2 teams in the NSW Cup.

Bit of a Volkman masterclass , difference between the teams.
Difficult conditions but our first half better than our 2nd esp errors.
Pleased with Brown and even Napa today. Some depth in the middles if required.
Not one of Sandons best games today, but feel a bit sorry for him pushed back to fullback for the Walker re-education experiment.

Yes this is the issue with two nsw cup sides having to spread talent on two sides
does not allow our reserves to get combinations together or get confidence winning well
both our teams the actual squad players went well
in bears
pauga is killing it scoring 3 and running 250mtr
smith played first full game back and ran for 150mtr
Turpin and May were strong - i wonder why May has been pushed behind baker? Wonder if he misses a training session or something
in chooks res
Walker did well at times
Napa and brown had solid games
Wong looked impressive
Whyte was huge again running over 200mtr
can’t be long until he breaks into the 17 or gets picked up by someone else

Not confident at all today in what looks like a bludger of a day over in NZ. Our backline doesn't excite me and Webster has impressed me as coach and has installed grit and competitiveness into the warriors. Forwards will have to roll their sleeves up and hopefully we get home in what could be a scrappy game.
Easts to win

Let’s hope Swarlehee is interested in tackling today.
