can’t rule on forward passes, if that one was forward anyway.

I have a nice still shot I show my manly friends of Maloney, in front of Mini passing the ball.

Did it float forward? The still shot doesn’t show it

The penalty try to Lyon also very dodgy.

Don't worry about that poster - an obvious troll, every post a dig at roosters. Thinks he's way too clever to be detected.

Someone should be held accountable and Canberra should not be getting the two points. It was not a legitimate win. Imagine if that happened in a knock out final with us roosters losing and the illegitimate winner went on to win the GF. Also, souths should have been docked two points.

        No.
You get some dodgy calls & then you also have dodgy calls go against you. All 17 clubs are in the same boat.

I think the match officials should be changed. Time for ones that are bias towards us

It will be interesting when that ball tracking technology system that can rule on forward passes is implemented in the not too distant future

Seriously, there are so many tackles in a game and sets to a team!
How many poor reads do teams make? How many poor options are taken in attack? How many dropped balls? There are a million things a team does wrong which have a greater bearing on the results of a game than a couple of refereeing decisions!
Unless a team plays a perfect game, they can’t blame the ref in most cases!
The ref can be brought into it when they are binning people or not sending them off (or not.. eg.. semi against south’s last year)
And they can call more for one side and miss the penalties that go to the other! We’ve seen that? But it’s not about one or two specific decisions!
I do feel that generally, the best team wins the comp in most seasons regardless of refs etc!

Piss off the bunker, it detracts from the game. Sure there will be human error, and plenty of it, but if you leave it to the humans it will even out eventually.
Only way to fix it is to stop the media replaying anything in slow motion, or more than once in real time.
It was the pressure from them that brought in the video review in the first place.
Instruct the officials to let play go on unless they are CERTAIN an infringement occurred.
Forward passes are a joke, they call back ones that are ok and allow ones blatantly forward.
Unless it goes a metre forward and is ABSOLUTELY OBVIOUS let it go.
Same with the stupid knock on calls. IF THE BALL DOESN'T HIT THE GROUND IT SHOULD NOT BE CALLED A KNOCK ON.

With this logic, we get the 2010 GF win after our beloved BMoz, stepped into row 18 before offloading. Changed the game.

We may need a 2nd or perhaps 3rd Bunker to help get things right. The second one can be over in a Philippines call centre. The third can be a fan based App. These clowns need all the help they can get.

Souffs should be stripped of two points for having 14 players on the field against the ponies. It's happened before with clubs losing the points. Why not the vermin? Protected species.

Totally agree on the forward pass.... people looking at the a possible forward pass as the reasona try was scored and not the bad defensive read!
Converselly , anything off a bomb that has many hands etc shoudl be called a knock on against the attacking team unless clear...benefit of the doubt to the defense off bombs! If thye are good enough then make it clean and clear!

That would be great if it works. Have the ball sound a loud alarm when a pass is thrown forward or blare out credence Clearwater!

on balance, no, but there's an argument the bunker should be more involved when a clear error has been made on the final play, maybe final set of six of a game.
if the dragons try in the 2010 gf when bmoz stepped over the sideline has been in the last set of six of the game and it had won them the game then there's an argument the bunker should get involved.
i get that ref errors are part of the game but nothing wrong with using the technology when there's a clear error at a game's death
