why all the aggro about Hutch? This is the guy who stepped up during covid and was instrumental in getting us to the finals. can kick, can defend, and can pass!

Just not as a centre. I like Hutch but I’m with the chill pen majority on this one

The Cow's are terrible this year & we will be too strong regardless of who's in/out.

Understand the Hutch pile on but we have won 2 in a row since dropping Walker & it feels like he'll be missing for a few more weeks the way Robbo's going.

Trouble is the reserves team has lost 2 in a row with him playing. What happens next who knows?

To be fair Walker did come off during the game from a HIA and did not return

Meanwhile everybody else who's playing like shyte and/or getting binned every week can continue to do so in first grade without needing such 'lessons' from the NSW Cup because...?

You'll have to be specific? If you're referring to Radley I think he's been good this year and outside of the stupid sin bin on Munster he's been unlucky on the other two.

I watched him too and thought he failed to control the 2nd half whilst his opposite, Volkman steered the Warrioirs to a win through his kicking game.

If I was questioning anyone after that game that didn't deserve to be there it was probably Whyte who was overlooked for Baker.

Walker got absolutely smashed is a scissor tackle , went off just before half time, and came back on in the 2nd half, he didn't fail the HIA. No excuse for this continued madness selecting Handbrake, he woldn't get a start in any other NRL team.
I certainly think Walker needs to improve his play selection, but I don't think that will happen by playing reserve grade.
His failings have been over emphasised by failings of players around him as well, if some of them had taken the passes he would have been a hero.
How about our GURU coach and his GURU halves coaching assistant actually COACH the young bloke ?

I think of Walker pushes Manu to centre, drew replaces Turpin as utility.

same as if billy smith replaces hutch at centre, he’ll push Turpin from the utility bench spot.

Found the burner account. How about maybe, just maybe, anyone with half a brain could watch Hutchison play centre and immediately determine he’s not even reserve grade quality in that position. That Storm game where 3 tries were by a direct product of his lack of speed and woeful defending, should have been the final nail in the coffin for him to never start again.

The covid year was 3 years ago and unfortunately Hutch is 1000% slower.
He is good at coming off the bench in short spells but should never start at centre. Blind Freddy can see he is out of his depth.

It’s called having an opinion. If we didn’t share our views or opinion then this site would be boring and no one would visit.

I’ll continue to criticise and celebrate as a fan but also never to claim I can coach better.

I think he did as well as the rest of the team allowed him too - the Warriors played better as a team, Volkman was in better field position more often as a result. Without Walker’s little touches of brilliance, it would have been a solid gold hiding. Sam’s good - great, in fact. But he’s not magic, and I think he’s being held to a far higher technical standard than anyone else in the team right now, bar none.

Go through the team list yourself... you reckon it's fair to say we all played awesome footy against the Storm (got pumped), Sharks (lost when we shoulda pumped them), Dragons (almost lost despite a dominant first half) and the Warriors (they dominated possession)?

I think it's fair to say that our team's playing like shyte given the amount of talent we're got. I'll take the two wins and I think it's something to build on, but wouldn't say Walker was a standout shyte player. Further, we're now in a position where Allan and Hutcho are in the centres because Robbo's chosen to play a ball running centre at 5/8 to teach Walker a 'lesson'.

I'm not vibing what lesson he's learning by being singled out here.
