Alex McKinnon has no clue. The fact that he claims we are prioritising short term success instead of long term is ridiculous. It would be a shame to lose Walker though, but I’d say it’s highly unlikely. All important figures at our club have stated their praise for him and that he is the future of the Roosters.

Once in a lifetime player.
to me latrell’s time at the club felt more like SBW or Maloney. Fantastic contribution but was always going to be a short term stay

Way back in the day, Noel Cleal's defection left me hurt and confused. I was only a kid and didn't understand the world. Why would he leave the club that I loved and assumed he did too? Hell, I had met him and got his autograph so to me, he had an obligation to stay! It was like a personal contract and here he was, breaking it! The next 'favourite player' for me was Trevor Gillmeister. So, it was sad to see him go. Since then, I'd say Adrian Morley. It was just sad that the game basically chased him out. He was our JWH back then.
On a different tangent, I remember the back page of the paper emblazoned with the news that Easts were going to sign Wally Lewis and Gene Miles. A few years later, another back page screamed that we had thrown the cheque book at Brad Clyde and Ian Roberts. What could have been if either of those reports proved true! I often wonder if there were two players that could transform a club right now, who might they be?

The time to leave felt right though from memory he was jumping from starting hooker, to utility to half and just wasn't working.
