That's funny. Whatever your name is, you're still a funking imbecile.

Ray it isn't game day and we have not suffered a loss. Why are you here? You are an absolute goose.

No disrespect to Ray but I hope we don’t see him tomorrow night.

Tones had a great love for cats and when he found out that my cat who was part of the family for almost 14 years had past away he wanted to do something nice for me, it was greatly appreciated at the time and to this day still is. When i was moving stuff around for the painting of my home unit i took the flag out of its protective covering to have a good look at it and it gave me a great smile. With the painting now done and i do have a spare wall as there is an old print i am getting rid of i am going to put up a framed print from the 2002 Grand Final and will try and incorporate the flag with it.

That’s awesome! I hope it gets a great space to be shown off with pride. What a wonderful gesture. I’m not sure I could be so generous about a cat passing tho. A dog on the other hand…

I wonder if there are any other cool stories like that where Penners have gone out of their way for one another? I know a few is here don’t always see eye to eye and probably go a bit far sometimes winding each other up (yes, I’m guilty) but surely there’s the polar opposite for positive actions as well right?

Had three pets in my life ( not counting the many birds i had in a aviary at one time) , First was Scamp, an Alsation, Kelpie cross, he was a beautiful boy when we lived in Paddington with a big back yard..
At Kingsford i went up the vets at Randwick and picked up a ginger kitten for my mum from a litter that was left there, he turned out a beautiful boy to which we called Toby, he was almost more like a dog than a cat and was loved by all our family.
Back in the 90's when i was sort of single and living alone i got a ginger kitten which i called Smudge, she was almost as big of a prima donna as i was at time. Met my better half and settled in and Smudge came along and was part of the family and when the better half was going through cancer treatment the better half said while having the chemotherapy and i was at work Smudge was there saving sanity, just being there not being demanding just being there was so special and reassuring.
I loved all my pets but being far more older the loss of Smudge really hit hard and hurt the most because she was part of my own household with my life time partner.

I totally get it Horrie. Our dog has been right by my wife’s side every day since we cane home. I truly believe they have a way to sense something is wrong and when they know you are unwell, they do what the can to comfort you. She gets extra snuggly on days when my wife’s had chemo as well.

Yet here you are with that exact repartee you speak of.

It’s good to know I’m living rent free in your head.

                                Thank you!
