The only positive i could take out of the game is that Billy Smith got through unscathed and i thought he played well also. Sitili looked good when he was on and Angus gave his all.
Surely that is the end of the Manu at 5/8 experiment, straight back to centre and Walker back in the halves. Suaalii is not a centre, back to wing for him or release him now to union.
That would be one of the most inept performances i have ever seen from the Roosters.
I agree with just about everything you said there Horrie. Suaalii does practically nothing in the centres and was far more effective on the wing. Billy Smith was great I thought. And I just don’t think Joey is ready to play 6. He’s no more ready to play 6 than Sam is to play 7. I think Robbo just wants a big body there. I think it’s our defence he’s more concerned about, two small halves leaking points. But our attack is now just insipid.
Except when he gave away a dumb penalty by dragging the Cows player over the sideline, giving the Cows field position and 6 tackles.
...thereby contributing to our downfall.
all teddy does is shuffle back and forth on the same spot and falls over lol
Has long been annoying actually. Teddy's way too pedestrian now and I wouldn't put him ahead of either Edwards or Latrell at this moment. Also there was no inspiration from any of our spine apart from B Smith trying to create something.
I think it is even more evident when you’re watching the Roosters live but they are so frantic and play such a high risk style of footy.
I believe we need some “boring” players like Turpin and Sandon Smith who can just get us around the field and let other players flourish. We are kind of directionless and this is where Cooper Cronk was so good.
Just got back from a fishing weekend and was gonna watch the replay, until someone texted me the score with an LOL.
I hope Robbo stays stubborn with walker and doesn’t play him next week, a beating by Cleary and the panthers would just get him dropped for the following week.

Hope you caught a few fish to make it a worth while weekend.

Down at bermagui for a golfing/fishing weekend, snappers,Benito, flatties and a few other varieties, no kingies at Montague island though, weather was a peach, driving back today it was snowing through bungendore, and the north of canberra got snow.
unbelievable I was at a perfect Bronte beach only a week ago in sunshine.

Sounds like a good feed of fish and a great weekend. Bloody hell must be cold if it snowed in Bungendore.
There's a few problems at chooks the backline attack is just not there. And Manu at 5/8 doesn't help. because he doesn't like to pass the ball. Who is the attacking coach? Do we even have one? because we really need one this debacle with the halves needs to be fixed quickly and young joe should go back to the wing next game Hes not a center, put Manu back there and bring back walker I can't see any other option? Turpin should be on the bench instead of Hutch Hes a genuine hooker so robbo could then manage Brandon's game time and get the best from him. Roobo great experimenting continues it seems, it cost us a top 4 finish last year. and I'm starting to think it could be the same this year. Billy went well today Hes a class act coming back from those injuries a lot of players would have given it away

No no, it's too early for that.
We can only make the right changes when we have to win 8 in a row to just make the top 8.
Still need to get a few more losses with this clunky rabble in attack.
