Official Match Day Thread: Roosters v Cowboys

Trent Robinson has finalised his side to take on the North Queensland Cowboys in today’s Magic Round match at Suncorp Stadium.

A number of changes have been made to the line-up ahead of kick-off. Billy Smith has been named to play his first NRL game of the season, coming into the centres, while Matt Lodge will start at prop.

Drew Hutchison and Jared Waerea-Hargreaves revert to the interchange bench. Jake Turpin has been confirmed as the team's 18th player.

Decent looking squad. Not mega fast but if we can play the power game, plus quick play the balls guys like Cheese, Ted, Kez and Manu can capitalise with straight running.

Proud of Billy back in the starting team, he has shown big ticker and attitude to get back here yet again. May the Gods smile on him and he gets to play out the year injury free.
