The last time we had a real bad season-in 2017- Politis extended Robbo's contract. Its since been upgraded again till the end of 2028. If you think Nick will pull the pin because of a underperforming 10 weeks, or season for that matter, then your dreaming

The last bad season was in 2016, I think the extension came in 2017 when we made a prelim. He is signed to 2028 based off his performances in the B2B years and then making Week 2 of finals in 2021 with a ressies team.... I don't think anyone is suggesting that Robbo is about to be sacked, just that maybe he should be haha.

I think it would take 2 straight seasons of heavy underperforming for Nick and the board to consider pulling the pin. I'd say if we miss out on finals this year or maybe another Week 1 exit, then a poor season next year with all our stars still at the club, I think then it becomes a real possibility. Lot's of footy to be played until we get to that stage though.

really - you are just on here to white ant the coach and club - have a few cling on's joining you who have an axe to grind about Coach Robinson's stance on particular important social issues.

I have no problem at all with his stance on any issue and those banging on that sport and politics shouldn't mix well it's way too late for that.

Have to go back to the 1936 Berlin Olympics the first time possibly sport and politics mixed.

So you've gone from saying that Les Tricoloures isn't even a Roosters fan to saying he is white-anting the club, which by its very definition means he is apart of the internal setup/inner sanctum of the club.

My concern is we become a reactionary club that changes coach everytime theres a bad run.....and those cycles tend to last decades.

NRL coaching is the hardest gig in rugby league and topline coaches are hard to come by. That's why there are so many coaches on the sidelines who have been sacked by their previous employer- and i don't want the Roosters be coached by other clubs cast offs because it tends to start off the dud cycles

Robbo speaking up about this has nothing to do with Latrell being indigenous of course lol… so it’s actually quite offensive on his behalf… because Latrell has zero loyalty to the Roosters and makes that very clear every time he plays us

Robbo doesn’t defend the club like he used to… in his mind the Roosters have become secondary to a lot of other nonsense… that’s all good and fine if the team continues to perform at a high level… they don’t and haven’t for quite some time

The only two I can think of are Tupou and JWH. They are still key players in our team.

Of the others, Teddy still has a lot to offer as do Radley, Crighton, Manu etc.

Losing games always brings up stories about unrest within a group. You are referring to innuendo mostly spruiked by quality orgainisations such as Fox Sports or The Daily Telegraph.

Maybe the Roosters aren't happy because it became so public and they couldn't control the whole situation. They have been pretty good at keeping a lid on situations over the years. Our list is the best in terms of talent and depth

Broncos are developing very well but still very raw… Souths are thereabouts as they are currently showing… Eels a shade under that… Sharks have a lot of good players but no one truly great… Storm very top heavy but the weakest across the board I’ve seen in a long while… Panthers still good but clearly not as without Kikau and Koroisau

We are underperforming… and if you look at what Wayne is doing with his bunch of misfits he is just putting Robbo to shame… even Webster at the Warriors is doing a better job this year

I can't name a bookmaker who has ever coached a side though - about as relevant as people picking the winner of games in a footy tipping contest or tipping who will the comp.

Not sure folk on here would agree that the Roosters have the best team in terms of talent and depth as for an example the following players are not rated by many on here and wouldn't be in the NRL side or even at the Club if they were involved in the decision making on player signing/retentions and team lists - fortunate they are not

Butcher Brothers - both offer nothing - reserve graders
Sitili - misses too many tackles
Momirovski -reserve grader
Suaalii - send to union
Hutchinator - send to siberia
Keary- should retire
Radley- too ill disciplined and not playing well- stint in reserve grade
Baker- no get up and go -reserve grader
Collins - Only plays well for QLD
Crichton - lost his mojo

Dolphins are not a bunch of misfits if you actually looked at their squad and Warriors are always a club that should be doing better than they are - Now back in New Zealand they should be a more settled side

Robbo didn’t need to say anything… he was responding to Gus for the love of God… and if anything Gus was actually sticking up for the club lol… what’s Robbo sticking up for rugby union for?

Not everything in the media is a beat up you know… there are a couple of very well connected journos in Sydney with a lot of cred in league circles… you don’t think people high up at the club talk to them off the record? That’s just naive

Roosters aren’t happy because the boy and his reps have not been up front… Uncle Nick can’t stand his agent… they’re thinking of cutting the boy loose if he doesn’t start earning his keep… all makes perfect sense
