Our "discipline", and by that I presume you mean getting reamed in the penalties, was if anything worse in 2013, 2018, 2019.

Different, stronger team then, and even a completely different game pre VLandys Ball 6 Againathon.

IMO it's fair to say that a number of the crackdowns have been directly aimed at trying to reduce our dominance over the game... based mostly on anecdotes such as 'they intentionally give away penalties on their line to prevent tries'.

It's not the only reason we're going through a 'rough patch' (tell Tigpies/Bullflogs/Merge/Titans/Knights/Warriors...etc we're struggling!!!) but it's meant we've had to change our tactics quite drastically.
