Teddy's comments overnight as quoted in the press are a concern to me because reading between the lines it seems that he is saying that Manu will be staying at five eight for at least a while.
So despite the team playing complete rubbish, it sounds like the halves will stay the same.
We can't score points so lets banish the one half we is capable of coming up with moments of brilliance and who is the future.
I agree with Dice's recent comments - Robbo is playing too many players out of position and it is just crazy. Keary, Manu and the union traitor are all being played out of position. That is almost half the backline playing out of position for crickey's sake.
Keary is not a halfback and is a shadow of his former self, due to probably a combination of age, the ACL and head injuries.
Manu can't pass unless it is a flick pass so that isn't that useful as a five eight.
The union traitor is a shocking centre.
I have to wonder what Cronk shows the halves at training. It musn't be the very effective out and then in ball that he and Slater used to such good effect so many times when Slater would catch lazy defenders sleeping with lightning pace on the inside up the middle. We hardly do any such moves, whenever we do it often looks dangerous but it is very rare. Most of the time we just throw the ball from side to side in slow motion this year.
I used to love Robbo but this year I am convinced that he has lost the plot. I hope I am wrong but with his stubborn nature, I am worried we will cop a hiding this weekend and will struggle to make the 8.
Uncle Nick pulled a completely unexpected masterstroke back when he secretly convinced Bennett to join our club when no one ever thought it was possible. I think Uncle Nick needs to get on the phone to Bellamy however unlikely it may be.
