I am not saying this to stir you up, but free speech is the opposite of what you are proposing to do. Free speech is when people have the right to say things that you may vehemently disagree with, and not be gagged or punished for doing so. Having said that, I mostly agree with you and I think that Freddy should be defended from this allegation, but defended with counter arguments not censorship.

Personally, I think the shoulder charge should still be part of the game. Like any other tackle though, any high contact or a shoulder to the head should be penalised.

Players cop more shots to the head from swinging arms than from shoulder charges. Should we ban tackling with the arms as well?
