the whole season is feeling very 2005
Looks more like 2009 to me......

Because blokes like this played for us. Not show ponies or 'teenage sensations'.

IMO the players have believed all the hype and have forgotten the key ingredient- hard work.

Robbo has made some huge errors positionally but the team were out enthused and honestly just bashed. Maybe they are t fit enough? All I know for sure is we need new blood, injuries now is making it hard but Sualli MUST go to the wing or reggies and bring in the likes of Whyte & NBrown for a crack.
Big changes needed in both the team and the coach!

Never rated Keighran but would have him back over Corey Allen anyday

                • Where to from here ? Never ever have i thought we need a rebuild but is it on the cards ? How did Keary go ? If Keary retired and Suaalii goes thats big coin for next year to start with ? I didn't see the game, just throwing shit out there?

It’s worse than 2016. The players body language tells me that Robbo is skating on thin ice.

My point is that players like that went out and played their guts out. And, at least in Adam's case, we showed him the door. For that frigging showpony Suaalii. I knew when I saw the YouTube clips of him running over the top of smaller kids that he'd be a one hit wonder.

I'll bother watching Roosters games when he's not stinking up the squad.

                      • There were a few positives tonight -

                        1. We scored before the 75th minute.

                        2. They didn't put 50 on us, so we still have a chance to win the comp.

                        3. We are only 4 points off the top of the ladder.

Still in the hunt and things should improve after the players get introduced to each other!

The players can go before Robinson does to be honest if that’s the case.

I watched Cordner and Jake Friend put their bodies on the line and go into early retirement playing for our club. No two players defined the Robinson era better than they did. If the players ‘body language’ is off then so should they be.

The disappointing part for mine (apart from the result) was the 2nd half stats - Penrith 24 - Roosters 4. We needed to win that second half to regain some confidence and to build onto next week but unfortunately the embarrassing first half wasn't enough to kick us into gear. I'm finding it hard to see how the coach can salvage the season after that effort.

Think I heard the commentator say that we haven't won at Penrith since 2017.
If true that would include teams with all our Cronk era stars.
