Do people really believe the team was not prepared to play this game or any other game?

Robbo's using the old coaches psychology of throwing himself under the bus instead and not the players.

I am sure behind closed doors it won't be a blame game either like on here and the rubbish posted on here about so called body language . player/coach disinterest and disharmony is total bollocks.

Yes it is a tough period they are experiencing but as they say when the going get's tough the tough get going.

You are either for them or against them

Penrith are a very good football team

When they have their grind football faces on they are exceptionally hard to beat.

You could see it was going to be a tough game to win from the start with the Roosters struggling to make yardage and any consistent field position in Offense and Penrith slowly but surely wining both the yardage and field position battle and putting the Roosters D under constant pressure.

When playing against such sides you really need to complete your sets and get to your kick and work hard in D.

Teams obviously under pressure against this type of footy go away from this and try the old miracle pass or a play that is not on - lose possession and Penrith make them pay for it with points scored.

Penrith then go through the same process time and time and time again over basically the 80 minutes.

You see many teams play a similar style of grind football but the difference is they can't or are unable to do this for a full game like Penrith can - not only a game here and there but basically week to week.

Injuries again for the Roosters - JWH peck strain - Manu Ankle Ligaments and Brandon Smith Groin

A weeks a long time in footy
We lost 48-4. I think it's pretty normal to be feeling this way.

Yeah I don't want to hear him say Roosters style or Roosters footy again unless we win the comp.

Robbo admitted he didn’t prepare the team well.

Does that mean you are also losing faith in Robbo?

Surely you can't pretend that they look like a well prepared team.

Teddy looked lost. Robinson finally startingto admit he's no guru.
We have been below average all year, we should have lost to Souths and the Dragons.... pure luck we won those.
the players are jaded, no hunger, no standards.
The message is old, and the delivery.
The changes he made are ridiculous, dropping out most creative player, madness.
That shiit filters through the team, they don't have a clue what he's looking for.
We are mundane, no imagination, no creativity, and poor ball skills, poorly coached.

I like him...he's cool, calm, and rational.
He doesn't get angry and swear like crazy if our players stuff up and things go wrong during games.
He doesn't get angry and kick chairs around the dressing room.
He's very professional, you can trust him to go anywhere to represent you without having to worry that'll he offend someone.

His coaching methods, player, positional choices are up for debate... but not his character.
He's trying to build a winning team, not always an easy task in the world of Rugba Leeg...one ref (the game went to two refs for a reason), new rules, etc.

Yes, Trent made a mistake ("assumption is the mother of all f-ups" - Under Siege 2)...he assumed the players he has to coach could pass and catch a football properly...without the ball being lost.

What the hell are players with poor ball skills, and ones who can't tackle even doing in first grade?

I thought Robbo spoke well. He’s not trying to sugarcoat anything. I’ll back him to sort it out. Not the first time the wheels have fallen off, happened in 2016 but he sorted it then and will again this time.

It may be as simple as getting toops back, when have we ever gone well without him? He is our talisman.

So we got murdered 48-4 and Toops coming back from injury will fix everything? You live in a world of rainbows and unicorns.

Losing faith yes. Lost faith no.

How could anyone not be losing faith? We have a great squad yet we get comfortably beaten by a bottom side and then get thrashed by Penrith who are nowhere near what they were 12 months ago.

I also saw Robbo address the players after the Saints game. I was very unimpressed.

Mate as always I wouldn’t hesitate to share my opinion. As you probably know I’m happy to share it in front of the keyboard not just behind the keyboard.
