I thought Robbo spoke well. He’s not trying to sugarcoat anything. I’ll back him to sort it out. Not the first time the wheels have fallen off, happened in 2016 but he sorted it then and will again this time.

It may be as simple as getting toops back, when have we ever gone well without him? He is our talisman.

We’ve always struggled without Toups and Jared only lasted 15 minutes.

Then it up that we don't have a star studded,cap busting team. Every one in the know, experts,ex players, media etc all picked us as if not the team to beat, one of the 2 team's to beat for the Premiership this year. You don't just lose your ability in 1 off-season.
Angus- World Cup winner & Origin player last season.
Collins- World Cup & Origin winner last year.
Teddy- World Cup winner, Origin & club captain & very few would of claimed him not to be the world's best player still last year.
Manu- World Cup player & last years Golden Boot winner.
Toops- World Cup & Origin player last year.
JWH- World Cup player last year.
Cheese-world Cup player.
Sitili-World Cup player.
Lodge-would be Origin & Aus player if not for his history.
JS-World Cup player & was brilliant last year.
Radley-World Cup player.

These blokes aren't hacks & haven't just lost it over night. There are far greater issues at play, which I won't claim to know but something just isn't right. Things happen at clubs & there is always a back story. Just like how Broncos were garbage last year,but now with the same team they're looking 10x a better team. Do you think all their players just learnt to play in 1 off-season?

We have made some strange decisions, some odd signings, positional changes amongst other things. Out list is there, just something isn't working & is say it's mental with something going on in the background. Are they missed at JS for dogging them, while he still gets rewarded by getting games while other young blokes are now missing out?
Has Walker signed elsewhere already being the reason he's being demoted, or is there a attitude issue with him, relatives mingling etc?
Or is it that Manu may be playing more of a part in this by demanding he play in the Halves to benefit his career?
Signing injury prone blokes like Brown upsetting Baker etc the reason they want out?
Or is it he was told he was in our plans but then we sign Leniu & then have to backtrack on JWH meaning Baker knows he's sitting in reserve grade longer.
Has Lodge been told her out the door as he certainly played like he had received bad news based on last nights performance
Signing an average Pom outside back who wont even play next year causing our young outside back to question their spots?
Angus getting picked again despite lack of training & no real game time to justify him being bought back in. He hasn't repaid the club yet this season.
To me it seems backroom stuff, lack of harmony, lack of unity & unwanted distractions. Clubs play like this when they are trying to force issues, either a coaching change or some other change they want.

But to say we don't have a top 4 roster at worst is laughable.

That’s the problem. We keep on pushing the envelope that we are internationals and superstars while we are getting demolished by 50 points and can’t score tries. That looks more like a reserve grade team to me not a team of superstars.

But you could be right and the team want Robbo to go. Since Walkers demotion we have got much worse. If they are holding back and deliberately not performing then they are not a true rooster team.

The Roosters way is not just a playing or training style though- it covers both on field and off field responsibilities as a Roosters player and representative of the club - Call it Culture if you want.

If culture is a vital component then why did we sign Brandon Smith and Matt Lodge? They should never been given the keys to the door. Sewer Leaking is another one that thinks of himself as above the club...

There's been plenty of coaches come and go under Robinson and he's always been accused of being stubborn. I think you're drawing a long bow.

I remember people used to call him stubborn for continuinig to pick Jake Friend. Or for continuing to pick Boyd Cordner of the left edge when he couldn't pass.

Geez we would kill for their ticker and leadership now.

It seriously worries me that Robbo and some of the players keep blaming lack of effort as the reason for the poor performances. To me, it’s so much more than that..

42-4 was flattering. We were woeful, it looked like men against boys. They looked bigger, faster, stronger and fitter. That was my biggest take, we looked unfit and unable to keep up with the speed of the game. Maybe that’s because it was our third game in 17 days (albeit Warriors also played 3 games in 17 days and are doing alright) and Robbo & the conditioning team hasn’t properly managed the teams training load.

There needs to be some hard truths to determine wtf is actually happening because the frustration is evident and it looks to be snow balling in a bad, bad way.

Penrith were red hot last night, but that doesn’t excuse how bad we were. Every team for whatever reason aims up against us so we can’t use that as an excuse, it’s the NRL, we need to be up every week.

No the game hasn’t changed that much. It’s not on Brandon at all, none of them are performing.

We have become a predictable team.

The worse part is our most unpredictable player has been thrown in reggies (& is now injured). The team look entitled to me, like they expect the other team should just give them space to run their plays. Instead they are getting in our face with line speed and constantly driving us back. We run a lot of one out which also makes it hard..

One general play kicker without a monster boot is also a killer as we constantly lose the territory battle.

Robbo may have lost the dressing room. The boys pretty much gave up after 15 minutes. Ditto Cowboys game.

After a 48-4 loss, only 2 tries in 160 minutes we are a top 4 side? In name only but on form we are no better than reserve graders. That’s the mistake our boys make. They believe in their own hype and think all they have to do is turn up to win. Well they got a reality check the last two games that reputation doesn’t win games but effort.

I agree. Suualii needs to be pushed to the wing or dropped all together. We don’t have the luxury of waiting for him to learn how to defend like a first grade centre.
