I think Allen has to play as if Joe isnt fit and ready for the ori9in period we need a fullback. sewalli isnt a fullback (as shown in the world cup). Allen is. hes not the fastest but he is possibly more reliable than sewaali. just a thought

Drop Radley to get his hunger back
Drop Suallii no need for him
      Promote Brown for his mongrel
      Make JWH captain
and give Toia a go, he has good wraps
bring back Walker, Watson when they're fit.

It's time to shake things up a bit, these are desperate times.
Kidding yourself if you don't think Hutch just automatically replaces Manu for the next few weeks. He isnt a world beater, but he's done the job before, has a good kicking game, good temperament, good defender & knows the role at NRL level. Robbo isnt putting a kid into a beaten, bashed & under scrutiny side where it could potentially kill his career before its started.
No one is also going to drop a club captain, I mean that would be one of the weakest decisions ever & send bad signs out to any of our players. No guarantee JWH even plays next week either.
Watson is a while away, at least 6 weeks I think, Walker will be a month out, so not sure any point in those choices as the seasons over by then.

Whoever Robbo chooses it could get any worse might as well give some younger guys a chance to step up.

Yeah amazing isnt it. Let's pick a young lad who mind you is pretty much out for the season anyway with injury, so not even available. He hasn't exactly even set NSW cup alight yet.And if anyone thinks it's a good idea to pick kids like Sandon Smith, Toia in 1st grade while the club is massively under attack from the media, from supporters & on the field through these tough times then they have rocks in their heads. This is when underprepared & young players have their careers killed. Imagine Smith putting in a stinker or costing the club a game, it would kill all confidence in him. We are lacking leaders at the moment & while that is the case you don't throw novices into the mix to sink. They need time & then get put in when surrounded by blokes that are doing their role & who can back them up & coach them on the field. They can't even look after themselves at the moment & are all playing as individuals.

I think Brown may be an in for Smith as it looked like Smith picked up an injury, although didnt look major .
Also why the debate with Pauga/Paulo?
Paulo has been our best outside back all season & 100% plays all year, Pauga to me is very underwhelming in NSW cup.

I agree & have watched Smith play several games of NSW cup where I think he's going through a quality apprenticeship. He will be a long term 1st grade player for the club I have no doubt.
But the apprenticeship needs to continue a bit longer as now is the worst possible time to throw him into 1st grade as it could potentially kill his career.

Regardless this team won’t cut it in 1sts. Think Cordner, Friend and Auberson. We replaced them with not even a 100th of their talent and skill. Now we are stuck with a team of reserve graders masquerading as a team of has been superstars who can’t score tries for peanuts. Many players are has been who’s wages are paid on past reputation not current form.

Allan is an experienced first grade fullback.

Paulo is still letting tries in past him on his outside. If he wants to keep playing right wing he needs to stop doing that.

Brown, Baker Whyte, and May must play ...we need their size, defence, and to stop opposition players running thru our team like it's mod league.

Agree...I think mentally Suallii is gone to RU. Rads well something's dodgy imo.
But FMS if you need as coach to smack some arses and if that's a stint in lowers then on your bike til you deserve to be in 1sts.

Names don't give you any rights but on field performance does.
