Wonder how 39 year old Cronk would do in the NRL now if he was match fit...I reckon he'd still be better than some halves in the comp

His influence on a game was shown when he run out and helped win us a grand final with only a voice box and right boot .
it's what the roosters have been lacking ever since and a long time before Cronk was ever signed.

Direction and a level calm head that could execute a game plan to the letter. He didn't have a big boot either but he was accurate and kicked through the line instead if over it to compensate for his lack of distance with his kicks.
