Well it would look pretty bad for Sam if he wasn't telling the truth, it's a very categorical denial.
So I take it as confirmation this rumour was totally concocted to try and harm us. We have plenty of enemies and haters.
Being "under contract" to us would not compel him to so vigorously and repeatedly deny the rumours. If there was ill will he could simply say "no comment".

ACL sprain or strain - I figure from below Walker's one is a Grade 1
There is a standard grading system used to classify the extent of an ACL injury:- Grades 1 Mild Ligament Tear: There is minimal microscopic tearing to the ACL, but the ACL remains intact.
- Grade 2 Moderate Ligament Tear: There is a moderate amount of tearing to the ACL, but again the ACL remain intact.
- Grade 3 Torn or Ruptured Ligament: The ligament has torn in a manner that the ligament is only partially intact or is no longer intact at all
Treatment Options
Treatment options may vary depending on if the ligament was a grade 1, 2 or 3 injury, however, some generally guidelines can be outlined.- Physical Therapy: Typically is performed for those who have sustained an ACL sprain (Grades 1 or 2). Treatment may include ROM exercises, and focuses on decreasing swelling, increasing quad and hamstring strength, and normalizing functional movements such as walking, squatting and stairs. The patient may be able to return to their pre-injury ability with an ACL sprain without surgical intervention.
- Surgery: This option is determined by the treating physician, but is often a treatment option for Grade 3 injuries or unstable sprains. Because the ACL lacks a blood supply and cannot heal on its own, surgery involves reconstructing the ACL ligament, using a patient’s own tissue or a cadaver tissue, in order to re-establish stability to the knee. Physical therapy is then performed to restore function of the knee.
Recovery Times
Grade 1 - 2 to 4 weeks
Grade 2 - 6 to 8 weeks
Grade 3 - 9 to 12 months
Sometimes these lower grade 1 sprains or strains can eventuate in partial or full tears since the ligament has been weakened by the microscopic tear despite the rehab undertaken
Happens with grade 1 Calf Sprains for an example which can progress to grade 2 (Partial Tears ) and grade 3 (Full Tear) ones

Weedler had some other interesting articles in his column today. One was talking about how upset and disappointed Nick is with the way Isaac Moses betrayed him over the Suaalii defection. How he went out of his way to help Moses get reinstated as a player manager and all the hard work Cathy King put in to help Joe and his family as well as the club and Nick helping with their charity work. Also a piece on Brandon Smith and how the club is unhappy with his service from dummy half.

The Brandon Smith piece makes some sense as his service has been a bit patchy when he plays longer minutes.
Am I the only one that is hating on JS not for being a traitor but for being utter shite?
I don't think he's a traitor, he was always gonna leave. I just think maybe he isn't actually that good and is being exposed having to do extra defensive duties and one-on-one duals at centre. His best traits were catching a high ball and his contact/hits in defence. I've not seen any pace from him, any step or any passing ability. He needs to return to the wing so he can be used for his elite overhead catching ability, which for me is literally all he has brought to the table in a Roosters jersey.
Maybe he is making the wrong code move and should be playing AFL taking speccies coz I can't see the hype as a rugby player. I don't think he's downing tools, I think he's just average/limited at this stage.

This is ridiculous for a winger.
Put him on the wing or get rid of him.

Approx. the same height as Toops but 45% less skill as a winger. Taller than Manu but 60% less skill in comparison as a centre .... Taller and leaner than Trell but 80% less skill and "X factor" as a fullback.
The kid is turning out to be all hype ... looks like we all got a hard on based on his height and high-jumping abilities and obviously the fact that we wanted to extract some sort of revenge on Souffs and Wayne (at the time).Last edited by DP1990; 05-15-2023, 11:01 AM.

What made Robbo think he could turn him into an 80min player when Bellamy can't....

Little blurb from buzz this morning on talkback radio.
Walker, though, is going the right way about rebounding from his axing, according to Daily Telegraph reporter Phil Rothfield, who revealed a classy example of the 20-year-old’s current attitude over the weekend.
“A lot of young players would spit the dummy, kick stones (about being dropped),” Rothfield said on the Big Sports Breakfast.
“They tell me after the game at Penrith the other day — as the players were showering and making their way out of the sheds to get on the team bus — he had his knee in a brace but you know the All Black players, the players that aren’t playing clean up the dressing room, pick up the tape, bandaged, sweep up? He was doing that with his knee in a brace.
“It’s a really really encouraging sign. Small sign, but encouraging.”
NRL legend Laurie Daley agreed, saying: “that’s a sign that you’re part of it. You’re part of the team. Nobody’s bigger than the team and for him to do that when he’s injured I think that’s a good sign for the rest of the players within that playing group.”
