Mastermind of our 02-04 defense and I honestly don't think he did a terrible job at the Dogs with the squad he had
In saying that I fully expect a Morris or Cordner to get elevated like Matt King has in the past

I love all these guys, roosters men through & through BUT I’d like to see someone else experienced in the coaching game that will challenge Robbo.. preferably not the next assistant looking for a head coaching gig. Surely there are plenty out there who are happy with being an assistant..

I don't like the idea of giving old boys coaching jobs just because they are available.
Surely coaches have to LEARN their trade.
Many great players are not great teachers.
Don't expect respect just because you played a lot of games for the club.
I don't see Friend or Cordner as great communicators so i don't expect either of them to be good coaches.

Jake Friend was the cornerstone of the Bondi Wall not only does he know the system he lived and breathed it.
If anyone can install the values of our defensive system it is him.
He's been around the club for a long time and players will trust him more than any outsiderLast edited by Tennessee Tornado; 05-25-2023, 05:54 PM.

Hopefully he'll start with the basics.
How to play the ball properly.
How and when to pass the ball.
How to catch a good pass without dropping it.
How to jump for a bomb and catch the ball.
