It's a forum, it allows for a difference of opinions.

Nothing annoys me more than when our past lean years get brought up as a barometer as to why things aren't so bad and the dross we've been dishing up despite having one of the best sides in the comp is then somehow justifiable... we have been set up to succeed and are in a new era of world class professionalism. We have gun players playing like shite. We are allowed to observe and call out mediocrity for what it is without being called fairweather or a whinger.

Absolute laugh a minute to think coz we were bad in the 80's its ok to be bad now with a team full of internationals under different circumstances.

Would be good for Souffs to use that logic given they largely had been woeful from the years 1971-2013 give or take. With that logic, they may as well start counting all their prelim loses as premiership wins because its close enough given how shit they've been in the past... on 2nd thought I wouldn't it past them to do that, so let's not give them that idea.
