So no to Bellamy, Hasler, Flanno, & Fitzy due to various reasons you don't like.

Possibly sounds like you are a rusted on Robbo supporter no matter what our results.

Does it have to be a big name? Robbo wasn't a big name when he replaced Smith in 2013 & won the comp.

If we don't make the top 8 this year or go past the 1st finals rd then i would give Robbo until the end of next year & if it's the same crappy results with a good roster then it would have to be "see ya Robbo"

I was only throwing it out there. As I said, it’s not my cup of tea but I’m sure he’s hunting for another full time gig.

All right I'll go up a level then.

                Wayne Pearce
                Brad Fittler
                Allan Jones
                Matthew or Andrew Johns

No one can seriously say we've replaced like for like since then. I honestly don't know why people say we have the best roster in the game. I've never believed it and it's been proven time and again the last 3-4 years.
Yep, that's the elephant in the room.

We have a very good roster.

But we do not have a 'superstar' roster. I was quite sho ked to see us previously listed as favourites for this year's prem. I had us finishing the season in around 6th, and I stand by that.

Compare 2018 with now. We have a good squad, but it's not what it was. That's footy. That's the NRL. There are swings and roundabouts

Friend v Cheese Cordner v Butcher
                  B Morris v Paulo
                  Latrell v Suallii
                  Cronk v Walker

That's 5 quite big downgrades across the squad, and that's off top of my head

End of story is, ROBBO is the best coach available. Easily. We will come good, but it will take time and it may not be until next year.

Hi K, What was last years great experiment?

I think you’ll find he’s referring to the Keary - Walker swap.

Thought so. Robbo wanted to take the pressure off young Walker. I get that however I can't get my head around the irrational changes he's made this year.

I thought we were unlucky and ill-disciplined against Souffs. Klein lost control of that game which suited their mug style of play. We needed to be smarter!

At least he learned something from that experiment. When brought Manu into 5/8, kept him on the right & Kez stayed on the left. I’ve never understood why pretty much every team, every week, has the 7 on the right and the 5/8 on the left.

Fair enough Robbo till 2028 then.

But other clubs will soon come sniffing around.
Maybe extend him till 2035 just to be safe.

FWIW, Michael Cheika is interested in an NRL gig. I’m not advocating removing Robbo. It’s too early to make that call. I do rate Cheika though, I reckon he’d go OK.
